Here, in Venezuela, life is more expensive than life in New York, and our minimum wage per month is not more than 40 USD....

And in Pakistan, the minimum wage is less than $100 a month, with the average wage being less than $300...odd Pakistan doesn't get any cheap games...

Hum, totally tempted to go on a rant by deliberately misinterpreting what you said to literally mean everything else and thus include taxes, school, transport, food and so on.

Post it on twitter, mentioning Warner Bros and the developer.

It will probably get some attention.

They are trying to charge console games prices on PC, that's bad for their sales.

You do realize that in Brazil there's a little thing called Nuuvem that sells games hell of a lot cheaper than the Steam store, right? And, unlike the unfortunate Europeans(us), nothing is region locked for you there, so you can buy ANYTHING YOU WANT. Don't be a twat and be thankful you live in Brazil.

Err... Not really. For people in Brazil they might as well simply buy from steam store instead since it is generally the same price(a quick look shows cases where the store is actually cheaper). As far as I can tell people not from other similar or cheaper countries were the ones who actually benefited from buying there(though Russia, if nowhere else, was always better) and now with region lock pretty much all the other countries in the region since as far as I remember aside from Brazil they all have around same price as USA or higher. Only goes to show how screwed the current region lock system is.

Further what he is talking about is specifically Mortal Kombat X which for whatever bizarre reason would be cheaper to buy in one of the non-locked regions like USA than buying here. Made weirder by the fact that the normal worst offender in terms of price(Europe and Australia) are showing prices lower than USA. I doubt he actually cares that it is higher since he can just get it somewhere else but merely bringing it up as being odd.

Overall even if I have no interest whatsoever in buying the game regardless of anything it sounds extremely off to answer the way you did. I was going to give a comparison along the lines of answering someone complaining about prices in Europe with "USA is not region locked so you can always buy gifts from there" but that doesn't quite fit since that actually makes sense unlike your post.

Lastly to say such a small thing as a not really that big difference in game prices is a deciding factor for which country you should be glad to live in is... Well I don't really have words for it.

Yup. Warner BR don't know anything, they said the price is up to Steam, but physical will be R$99,90. They prob don't communicate with the main office of Warner in US to be talking that. The publisher set up the price, prob a mistake (unless they're trying to make more profit till ppl notice/complain a lot).

And Nuuvem have more expensive games than Steam, Origin, Uplay stores in here sometimes. Because they use the same source of keys as Greenmangaming, Gamesplanet and a few other know sites. So they prob charge more on some titles due to the price they get with their dealer.

Lol, I'd make a list of games that are 30% more expensive in the ANZ steam store but uh, steamprices will only show me as far down the "rip off" list as 42% more expensive :L

Since you mentioned I am curious now, as far as I can tell all the regions which normally have higher price than USA have it below instead does that also apply to ANZ?

Warner said that the physical version for PC will cost R$100 and that price of R$220 on steam is not up to them to change.
I think that price will be fixed soon.
