That looks great. Thank you for letting us know. I'll do some research on what they mean by "DRM-Free" (you never know, there are some strange ideas floating around) and then probably buy it tonight.

Referral links aren't allowed ("tag=underyx-20")

Oh, oh, sorry, was that rule always in place? I can't recall seeing it before at all. I've removed my referral tags from the OP now, sorry again.

Edit: Though the rule "Do not link to any referral programs." is a bit ambigous, I think, this wording might refer to Ponzi-schemes only. Could a mod please clear this up for me?

Bumping thread in hope of getting an answer to this. In the last few days I posted the deal every day and actually earned ten bucks, so I'd love to continue doing this, and I believe those buyers think I provided a valuable addition to this forum, but of course if a mod tells me the rules say I shouldn't do this, I won't.

I got Borderlands GOTY PC Download on Amazon for $14 a while back c:

Secondly, is Risen Steam redeemable?

No, none of amazon's games, unless specifically stated, are steam redeemable

Oops, I meant I got Borderlands GOTY for $14 on Steam. It wasn't specified on Amazon, but the CD Key was Steam redeemable.

If anyone can personally confirm whether or not these are steam-activata-redeemable, that'd be awesome.

I don't know about Borderlands, but Risen doesn't have a key at all.

BORDERLANDS has a CD KEY, that you get when you buy it.

Thanks for this information. I made a giveaway for "Risen" a few weeks ago (which I'd won from the Great Gift Pile) because I didn't want the game when I noticed it had DRM. Now that it no longer does, and is being sold for $6, I bought a copy.

The head of the Amazon Downloadable Games department made a post about this on Reddit. He stated that Risen is not Steam redeemable. This is a special version that they've negotiated to be DRM free. As Steam is a form of DRM you will not be able to redeem this one. Shucks.

Unlike the steam version this one also does not have tages drm.

The Steam version is supposed to be additional-DRM-free some time soon (once the patch is processed.)

I already have a hard disc copy of GOTY... it was not activatable on steam. If I activate the Amazon copy could I still use the code I used to get the 4 DLC onto that copy? As far as I know the code I used was only for the DLC and since the game itself (from what I can remember) had to cd key it should work?
