Is it the month of Kindred Spirits?
Was never really bothered with the bundlelist or how/when games would land there.
Is it just if a game gets "bundled"(for 85%+ or if it gets a single 95%+ discount, which happened to one Humble Monthly) at which a game gets onto the list or is it totally random which bundles count as bundles? (The FAQ just states game in a bundle and "high enough discount" but nothing specific)
With it's 87% discount will it therefore definitively land on the bundle-list?
Is the rule somewhere on the site to be seen(aka would love to see a link^^) or is it just known from hearsay? :D

In theory, if you pay for a bundle less than 0.05% of its retail value, then all the games contained in the bundle will be added to the bundle list. This threshold is usually calculated based on the whole bundle value, but it happens sometimes that the rule applies only to some tiers of the bundle: if the high tier is expensive, then the games from that tier will not be added to the bundle list (these cases are rare, but one example is Tier 3 from Humble Manga Gamer & Friends Bundle).
In practice, all bundles get added to the partial CV list, apart from Humble Monthly (with the exception of two specific monthlies, from what I remember).
With it's 87% discount will it therefore definitively land on the bundle-list?
If it's a store discount of 87% and a non-bundled game -> it will probably not be added to the bundle list
If it's bundled and the bundle price is less than 0.05% of the total retail value of the bundle -> it will be added to the bundle list, regardless of its previous discounts in the Store.
Is the rule somewhere on the site to be seen(aka would love to see a link^^) or is it just known from hearsay? :D
There was one thread somewhere, I can't find it now. I'll try to search for it and add it here if I find it.

Didn't think about HH-groupbuy (even though I do that). Was just curious because this is the most expensive IG bundle I've seen^^
Thanks for the answer. ;)

I don't know if Group Buy hosts have some form of bot checking, or IG send emails, or they just religiously refresh the page, or it's more of a word of mouth thing. Why, did you buy one copy on day 1 and now you want to buy a ton of extra copies for cheap too? (Otherwise, HH is rather useless to you)

I got Kiss For The Petals on Steam a while ago and completed it. The rest are all wishlisted. In comparison with Steam sales, $9 for those four is really, really good. I went ahead and got it, and I'll give the repeat to a friend of mine for their birthday. =3 This probably isn't worth it for people that are just interested in collecting Steam games, but I love visual novels, so this is a steal for me!

Hopefully you get a chance to check it out at some point. =3

M/M is on my wishlist. I was referring to Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator, Angels with Scaly Wings
and I'm really interested in getting Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator
, perhaps in the next summer sale.
I see you already have Hatoful Boyfriend, that one is really good if you're patient enough to get to the true ending.

Just to chip in, I plan to be playing Hatoful Boyfriend on Valentine's Day. Been wanting to for a while! <3
And happy cake day~

First time I will use Group Buy in a bundle, wish me luck.

Yeah, you're right, that wording was a little bit aggressive. I was just trying to point out it's a very bad deal for Linux gamers.
Edit: Oh, judging from your Steam profile, you're an anime fan and (almost) a neighbor :-) I'm planing to visit Wien this summer (for the first time, I hate to travel).

A considerable amount of VNs have a Linux port, this 1/4 is a rarity. I guess that is the point.

Just noticed from Tets comment that your from Austria as well so I thought you might be interested in this group:
Österreich's SG's
Truth be told there's not a whole lot going on in the group right now due to the small number of members but maybe that changes at some point ;)

I had someone get my Moekuri a while back and Kindred Spirits has always been on my wishlist so its a buy from me.

Those voice actors really dont work for cheap, do they?
Comment has been collapsed.
A lot of VN Kickstarters require a fair amount of funding to get voice acting. I hope to publish a VN someday, but odds are when it happens, I probably won't have the money to afford VAs. =P

Actually, voice actors are underpaid these days.
Most need a side job to survive.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah good voice acting isn't that expensive. A good example is The Letter. Lengthy VN with a lot of great voice acting.. although it is in english. It reached $33k funding with the voice acting stretch goal at $40k lol. I suppose japanese voice actors might cost more though.

English VA are grossly underpaid compared to top Japanese voice actors who also have agencies and unions to make sure they get paid. There was a major video game voice acting strike not to long a go. They get paid crap in comparison to top tier Japanese voice actors.

Actually, i was being sarcastic. But it is interesting to note, you and Celtic have different opinions.
Of Course for a small developer paying actors for the job is expensive, even if not enough for the actors themselves, but that certainly shouldn't translate to such high consumer prices.

Ah, fair enough. I need to brush up on reading sarcasm from online chat :d
That's true though, it's hard to keep a reasonable balance.

So expensive.... but it has Moekuri so gdi baited.

I was hoping that a GroupBuy organizer would answer you, since I can't answer with certainty. From what I've noticed, the HH is after 7-9 days from the start of the bundle; some get 2 HH until they end, some only one.
They have special prices during HH, so one can't tell for sure how much a GroupBuy copy will cost just basing their calculations on the initial price.
For this bundle there hasn't been a HH yet.

Mangagamer published half the games in this bundle and may have partnered with CultureSelect which published the other half. Mangagamer also did all of the Sexy Girl bundles and none of them had happy hours. They're not really a HH friendly publisher so I wouldn't expect one for this bundle.

No happy hour so far.
They kindda make HB's weeb bundle T3 but with much less content

This bundle will NOT have HH. I asked Indiegala support and they confirmed it.

What a shame, it's a skip for me then. Can't afford that price.

Out of curiousness as a follow-up from my question on release of the bundle:
The answers indicated that it would indeed land on the bundlelist because with HH price it's discount would be higher than 95%....and it got added to this list on Feb 2.
Now that there won't be a HH: Should it be removed from it (because the bundleflag was applied too early) or aren't bundleflags something that gets retroactively removed?
And while we are at it:
Who actually flags games as bundled/free? Support (because they can add games to list) or only Mods and upwards (because they also have "Moderate"-permission for the list)?
Not that it would change anything for me on this site no matter the answer (if I even get one), but I really would like to know how this actually works since I started two weeks ago and would appreciate an answer😁
Edit: Is this even the right place to ask or should I make a thread for it?
Comment has been collapsed.
Considering non-essential support tickets are on a low priority at the moment I wouldn't think such a ticket would get any attention :D
Edit: Still got a "User Report"-ticket open for 5months for a winner of one of my GAs who didn't activate it^^

I was hoping for a happy hour but was expecting this. I will still wait it out until the last couple of hours, and then buy it.
Comment has been collapsed.
It was expected that this bundle wouldn't have HH as stated in their support page.
http://support.indiegala.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1761110-how-does-happy-hour-work-
"Weekly" bundles (those that last 7 days or less) and most of one tier bundles do NOT have Happy Hour.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's not that simple. Lots of one-tier bundles do get HH, this one isn't getting a HH having more to do with it being anime and a publisher who doesn't do HHs.

it's funny I was searching this bundle in google and found this bundle with different link
https://www.indiegala.com/special
dunno if it's works or not tho
