Depends of the reason perhaps, but it's mostly just random (most people don't know they are on a list or why), and it's by definition exclusionary, which seems to be the opposite of the point of this site.

Some people throw in anything as an excuse to blacklist (saying thanks/no thanks (how on heard can you do that ever right) or just having a bad day.
Not saying people who got suspended for regifting and such aren't good enough reasons, but not everyone who got blacklisted did that. It's everyone's own choice, but still.

The only blacklist I know of is from a guy who didn't get the joke and thought I was being serious when I suggested a very illogical way to cheat this site. I blacklisted him back, because I don't want anyone without a sense of humor winning my games!

The first time I noticed that someone blacklisted me was 2 months ago.
I don't know what the reason was, I wasn't that active on the forum at this time and I haven't entered any of his GAs before.
I just blacklisted him back, even if he's looks like a great member of the SG community with lots of created GAs and so on.

You have an un-activated win on Serious Sam from a year ago, according to sgtools. Could be someone noticed and decided it's a good reason to blacklist. Some people are extremely trigger-happy.

I did not know SGV2 told you about being black listed i know i have been but i only find out when trying to enter a GA.Though i am not like you IDGAF.I know most are just from people not agreeing with what i said or my opinions as it can not be from breaking any rules as i have not done that.All well i am not here to please everyone i am who i am and that what SG will get,take it or leave it.There is also a chance i might be on a black list so i can not win from them again but i really will not know lol

It's a double edged knive: a lot of higher CV users blacklist lower CV users for just about of any kind of reason they can make up so it's just very normal that lower CV users blacklist the higher ones in return. This is an example of the universal tit for tat rule...

Since SG2.0 I've been waiting for the time when I tried to enter a giveaway only to find I was blacklisted. It finally happened this morning. No idea why, but IDGAF really.
So what do you do when you're blacklisted? Look on their profile, find a game on their wishlist, create a GA for it, and hope they win!
