I think it's the other way around...if you buy 5 or 10 with real money, you get 30 or 80 diamonds.

I might be wrong, but I would suspect that those who indeed purchase packs do so in hopes of getting a good game or a Steam wallet card. And that rarely happens. The games you seem to get from those packs are even worse than those from Fanatical's mystery bundle.
But hey, whatever... 80 diamonds for spending 10$ is indeed better than no diamonds for throwing 10$ at Lootboy.
Buuuuut... if you really want to gamble, that mystery bundle is a better deal than what Lootboy is offering.

At first the website told me purchase failed due to "response timeout". Then I got an error that I have purchased it already. I think it's a bug anyway, because it looks awfully familiar to the free Welcome lootpack for new accounts. If it's indeed the one, then it shouldn't be shown to existing accounts.

I got games like AER and Blades of Shogun from Lootboy. Although I never got any steam wallet codes but many people do. Lootboy is definitely not a scam.
Edit: Also I have earned atleast 5-10 dollars worth of steam wallet from selling trading cards of games I got from lootboy. Just don't spend real money on it.
