A ban is intended to be permanent [a ban being an outright prohibition of an element], a suspension is not [indicating something which is suspended between two points- in this case, being active and being banned/expelled/etc], an indefinite suspension [SG mistakenly calls it a Permanent Suspension but, then, so do many others] is any suspension without a set end-point that acts like a ban.
The distinction isn't an entirely meaningful one, given that meaning is usually fairly clear regardless, but it sounds silly, like someone exaggeratingly using "forever" to indicate any period longer than a day.

Anyway, grammatical technicalities aside, SG does utilize both suspensions and bans, so there's merit to making a proper distinction. And, as you can see, misutilization of words can spread rather easily, due to it being easier to relate to an ongoing conversation by appropriating its established terminology. Then that escalates, and in the end we're left with non-co-op games on Steam being labeled as co-op because people think it just means multiplayer. Blasphemy, truly. 😑

The reason ist that only cg can ban people completly. The Mods can't. They have only suspension rights. Perma suspension is the hardest/longest they can do to punish the extremst rulebreakers.

Suspension =/= ban.
Suspension means not being able to use the site, but open support ticket in case you fixed the problem - like having tons of unactivated wins, or could explain the situation.
With ban the user can't even open support tickets - permasuspension is the go-to punishment, ban is reserved for people who harass, threaten or annoy support beyond reason after their permanent suspension. For example Abrix "only" got permanently suspended. Konrads got permanently banned. Bans are so, so rare, I'm not sure if I've seen anyone else, that's why he is the go-to example because you can't really just find a banner person randomly :D

Yep, it seems they had to cool things down to remain viable. I dunno, it's nearly always the same with such sites. First just out of advertising reasons they are very generous and then it gradually declines.

In 2000 coin LOOTPACK there is a small like 0.1% chance for a game I think but most of the time you will get a card with a discount for a controller or something or a card with some bonus item for a free MMO games.
Best bet is to save your gold for the times when there is a loot pack that cost 19.999 coins and is 100% game.

For those of you w/ Android phones, lootboy recently added their app to the amazon app store. If you install the amazon app store app on your phone, you may be able to get a free daily gift of a random number of Amazon coins, which can then be spent on lootpacks. I've gotten anywhere from 1-100 per day. (I've heard this offer may not be available for everyone; if you have it, it should show up as a very obvious little gift box icon on the front page of the store. Also, I don't think you can download the amazon app store from google, you have to install it directly from amazon's site.)
I've been doing this a while so I had like 800 Amazon coins sitting in my account (Amazon app selection is mostly garbage); cashed them all in for FSA packs and wound up with a $10 steam card (& several mediocre games.)

Thank you! I downloaded the Amazon Appstore and got the gift of 2 coins.
Btw is earn coins from apps actually reffering to in-app purchases not simply playing the games? That's what I'm getting from it.
I also downloaded the lootboy app from Amazon (I had to uninstall the Google play one to install it) and tested the purchase for dollar packs and there is indeed an option to pay with Amazon coins.
However when I go to Diamonds tab, only Exploration Quest are available (like on website) and others (Offer wall, surveys, playtime) are missing.
So I wouldn't recommend using Amazon lootboy app on a day to day basis. Only to install it when you have enough Amazon coins to buy the FSA packs.

If you're very lucky you win one of the special cards from the pack you picked (Steam Wallet cards in case of FSA).

The names of the lootpacks only describe the exclusive loot for that pack! In most cases you just get something from the general pool for all packs, wich contains Origin/Uplay/GOG/Steam/whatever games. So even if you get the "Full Steam Ahead" pack, you may not get a steam game!
Also, they have the same "or PC games" list for every lootpack, even XBOX ones. It would be so good if someone wouldn't be upset every week about their expectations, while ignoring disclosed info.

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
Unfortunately it happens far too often that Lootboy is handing out duplicate keys, so a lot of people feel uncomfortable with creating public giveaways with the games from Lootboy. So I just created a little group with some rules to make it less risky for the generous givers.I hope this helps :)
