As far as i know only codes in uppercase letters make/start this problem.

I wasn't able to redeem a couple of last codes because of the "error?" :Z I wrote to support, but they don't seem interested (which doesn't surprise me considering the nature of the site). :shrugs: So yeah, you're right, seems like a waste of time. :3

I'm using lootboy since users reported some massive rewards like $50 Steam wallet and so on.
But the site performs pretty bad, I dunno, but it's eating too much CPU like there is some cryptomining in the background going on. Also the code redeeming is extremely unreliable and annoying.
I guess I will stop using it cuz it's a waste of time, and the big rewards seem to be gone by now.

Never experienced any CPU hogging when I visit the site. What are you running?
As for some users reporting massive gains, well it's a matter of statistical reality. A few users on SG, already a minority on the site, only make up for a small percentage of everyone else using the site so the odds are low, for sure, just like any lottery.

Hi Fluffster, maybe I put it in a wrong way, I just wanted to remark how poorly the site is optimized, and how unreliable the code redeeming is for me. It's obviously using more CPU than necessary, but it's not that bad that it's freezing up my browser or something. I'm mainly using Chromium for browsing and the overall performance is just excellent.
Well, it's a bit too annoying for my taste, and I also don't like their concept with these confusing lootpacks. Once you're finished reading all the comics in the library, there only remains the unreliable code redeeming to earn a notable amount of coins, which are also mostly useless for me to spend on those odd lootpacks.
I'd wish they had more Steam games for coins. :/

10 streamcoins back = you still need a lot of free time to get, normaly, a free before game.
It don't must be a bad one but normaly it is one that you already would have and get 0 cv at steamgifts.
I don't looked there last stream... after they raised up to 50 streamcoins needed.
All the chatspam in there stream make it for me to a "no option" version of a stream.

Yes, they can, and shown in the past, that they change there earn and reward system in parts or, nearly, completly from one second to the other one.
And yes not get the promised and legaly earned isn't a correct business behavior.
For me always a very bad sign and the reason why i stopped working for a small swedish online game shop in the past.

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
Unfortunately it happens far too often that Lootboy is handing out duplicate keys, so a lot of people feel uncomfortable with creating public giveaways with the games from Lootboy. So I just created a little group with some rules to make it less risky for the generous givers.I hope this helps :)
