+1 Alhough I gotta admit that I'm pretty impatient myself. Last year went way smoother when they gave away Bioshock Infinite

Yeah, as far as I remember they gave away Bioshock Infinite last year at the time of the awards. I think it was still 1$ tho, but you got 1$ in funds back to your GMG account. So I got the game and Gods Will Be Watching for 89 cents or so.

Well Bioshock Infinite for 1$ is still a great deal but I never got my 1$ Playfire credit.

You had to play the game to get the 1$. I just started idlemaster so I didn't have to download the game, quit after a second, game showed up in the list of games I played, got the dollar, done. :D

Yep :) I even actually downloaded it and gave it a try because I was curious although I haven't played 1 and 2 yet.
It was my first and apprently last because it seems to be over Playfire promotion and I read it sometimes takes a bit for achievements to register... So I logged on to Playfire ~15 times over the next month while the reward lasted but it never registered. I even subscribed to their mailing list because instructions were unclear if that is necessary for Rewards to register but no luck.
I tried pretty much everything except contacting Playfire customer support which seemed too much to bother to get that 1 buck back in credit.

Playfire rewards were notoriously unreliable- as was their support.
You likely wouldn't have gotten any help by contacting them, I don't know anyone that ever did- usually ]as was my case] you'd get the reply months after the promotion had ended, and all it'd read is "We're sorry, we can't assist you on this matter as this promotion has ended."

Yech :P

But yeah, as I recall: you log on playfire once to activate the promo, log on steam to generate the progression, then log on playfire to sync it. As long as you did that order at any point, you did all you could.
[ie, if you logged on 15 times, but they were all after your steam play, and you never played again, then there may have been a legitimate reason you didn't get credited, as you were basically just cycling the 'Activation' step, and never reaching the 'Confirmation' step. But if you loaded the game at any point after your first playfire visit, then it was just another bug on their end.]

Still, Bioshock Infinite for $1 is a pretty fabulous deal- I was willing to risk Playfire not refunding for that price [though I lucked out on that one]. :)
