Do u like this game?
If it's a good game, that's great. The sad truth is, in my opinion, that among eight thousand games on Steam, there are surely a few hundred shooters. If only a third of them is good, you end up with at least 50 good shooters on Steam. This is just one more among them and it doesn't really stand out. I've seen many good games go to waste simply because Steam is already loaded with great games. I'm sure this one will follow the same path. (I mean, I hope it doesn't die, but hoping for a better end is, IMO, a big risk for your wallet)

Says it wants to get away from 'casual shooters' and remove 'casual features', yet has a casual mode and enemy indicators and what looks like fairly bullet spongey physics.
Stick to Insurgency.
Also that smoke effect when firing lol. The Capture icons look like they're ripped from CoD, too (though I could be wrong on that - They're similar for sure though.)

Yes that's what it stands for but it refers to a specific type of online game such as World of Warcraft or Guild Wars and not the size of the playerbase of a more conventional competitive versus multiplayer title.

I know what you mean, but I'm saying about stable community, many many multiplayer indie game have failed with a dead server, and dude WOW and GW are not indie, lmao, some misunderstanding here, you know, indie devs cant afford for commercial somehow.
And I know that this genre of game will be FPS Arena with multiplayer and strong team-based but just notice this: what happen when you log in and there are only 9 rooms in main server which have 8 private room and only one full public room, not fun, right ?

You're the one misundertanding. MMO is a genre/type of game that happens to have a large playerbase not a reference to the playerbase of a 4v4/6v6/8v8......64v64 multiplayer game. My point has nothing to do with indie or AAA.
This game just outright isn't MMO, its just multiplayer.

Alright, my bad in the first place to call it MMO, so just change indie MMO to indie multiplayer, and that's my point of view !
Although its genre still be Massively Multiplayer as Squad game, a.k.a MMO, but yeah, in your point of view, I'm so wrong !

An indie dev will find it hard when release in both Early Access and multiplayer, especially in this time lots of great AAA title comes out and many, I serious mean freaking many, indie games comes out. It's just complicated to be a new Dungeon Defender 1 at this moment!

Rainbow Six Siege looks better in the same setting. I would not know why I should possibly play that Police Infinite game.

R6 Six Siege is like 5 Months old, not "years"
And still: Why should i buy a worse version of that game? Because it is "indie"? Because it is "early alpha"?
I never bought an early alpha game. If devs publish unfinished games, then they definitely do not look for ME as customer. I just want to have fun in a working product- I dont want to work by sending countless bug reports in an unfinished product.
And for the "Indie" argument: Indie Devs are cool. I love titles that show me completly new ways of playing. But Indie Devs can only survive if they make games that noone else makes, games that are special. But if they try to re-make games of big publishers, they will fail.

Basically this. From a cursory skim through the store page, this game looks extremely generic. It really doesn't matter how allegedly close you are "with the community"- as an online shooter, if you don't bring anything new or unique to the table, then in all likelihood your game is dead in the water.

What do you mean synchronise with the server? Hosting your own game means that you are the server.
And most people in Australia lack the upload speeds to host servers. The internet speeds for uploads is crap in this country, so hosting isn't an option.

so you are friends with devs and this is marketing? :D

Your thread made me check some youtube videos and it looks horrible. It's a bit too bright, the whole setting of police versus terrorists (which seem to wear expensive suits lol) is not really interesting. From what I've seen the map designs are bad and don't look fun at all. I didn't see a single thing in the videos that would make me want to play the game, or a single thing that would make me think the game is not a complete crap.
This game almost certainly wouldn't get a lot of players even if it were F2P. So with with a price of of 20$ (according to one of your posts here) there is absolutely no way this game is going to be successful and it's probably going to die rather quick.
I'm going to stick with Insurgency. At least until Combat Arms: Line of Sight gets released and hope that one wont be P2W like Combat Arms is now.

but when i tried it, than it isnt as that bad as it looked.
Its worth to play it?
Im confused, your question made it look like you haven't tried the game yet

I have no idea why people like these games so much, at least Insurgency doesn't have maps that look like everything was cobbled together and you can get it for 1$

Well.. It doesn't look bad... but it doesn't really seem to bring anything new to the table either.
No singleplayer / co-op / bots might make it a dead game fast,
unless they can keep a steady playerbase with all the unique features I didn't see.
