Injustice 1 or 2?

I am new to this kind of games and I found injustice amazing because of its character and the style, but i don't know which one should I buy.
I am afraid that I will abandon the game just like many other games once I find it boring or it's not my cup of tea.

2 seems overpriced to me. The 1st has bigger roster I think?

Mortal Kombat has a similar gameplay if you enjoyed injustice consider it (mortal kombat x too)
