Dunno which is the budget you're working on, neither how much that one costs but I'd save a couple of bucks for either a 650ti or a 760. From the amd card of course I'd recommend either the 7850, 7870, 7950, but because of litecoin/any coin mining they are still a bit more expensive than their green team counterpart.

Wow, with the way people keep promoting the 650ti, I feel like I got a really good deal on mine. That is, aside from duty, it was free.

It's because below 650ti/7850 point paying less will in fact give you less performance/dollar.

It's a medium range gpu. Are you planning to do sli right now? If that were the case I'd recommend just to get a 760 to have less "troubles".

Of course it works better, not by a huge margin either. For that price it's really good, but of course you should consider shipping, if ther shipping for the 650ti is free, just get that one.

If you can afford it I'd go with the 660ti, I mean both are a bit expensive for their value, but at least with the 660ti you'll have a bit better experience (if you compare with what you have you'll notice a great jump though). Another option, if you're not in a hurry, wait for the release of the 750/760ti to see if they get cheaper and if amd counterparts get cheaper now that litecoin/somecoin mining it's not that RIDICOUSLY profitable.

I had a 7770 a couple of months ago, not what you are expecting...
I currently have a 7850. You should go for a r9 270x or r9 280/280x.

Your CPU, MB, and PSU are all good.
I'd up the RAM to at least an even 8GB.
I'd also replace the GPU with at least a GTX 650 Ti Boost, GTX 660, AMD 7870, AMD R9 270X, or a GTX 760. 150-250 USD is a great budget range for GPUs this year.
Regarding the GPU you linked, it's a little underpowered when you consider that for 20 USD more you can have a Boost Edition. You'll also see much lower frame time variance compared to the regular GTX 650 Ti.

It's a great card! I've been using it for a long time (even though I only have the GHZ Edition) but I can say that it can run every game out there. If you get another 140 bucks later on, you can buy a 2nd one too, because they perform really well in Crossfire mode

So... Lately, I have been interested in upgrading my video card, and I found this one which seems quite good for a quite good price
This is my system, which has been nice so far, but I would like a little bit more.
CPU: AMD Fx 6100 6-core 3.31GHz
GPU: Zotac Ge-Force GT430
Mainboard: Asus Crosshair V Formula
RAM: 6GB
PSU: Xcase Power Supply Atx 800w
Thoughts?
Or what about This one?
