Do we put in for ourselves or you want recommendations of others only?

I want recommendations from other users

Do not listen to suggestion here, but read the threads around here and decide for yourself who to whitelist. Think about what are reasons for you to whitelist someone? Only contribution value (easy to abuse), participating in forum discussion, ....

I'm curious what do you mean by "join the community as soon as possible"? What do you expect from adding someone in your WL and from being in someone's WL? You may not answer these questions.

I also agree that filling your WL should flow in natural way and you should decide for yourself who to add to it while exploring and experiencing SG. But again, I don't know your goals.
