Given the more common use of firearms, I think there would need to be a serious change to the combat mechanics, although they should never get rid of the hidden blade ^^

Enough ACs. It would be nice if they gave a fucking end to the story.

Chinese assassin. Setting the story in the period where the three kingdoms were struggling for power (Wu, Shu and Wei) will certainly grab my money. Heavy usage of old-school sword fighting and assassin techniques probably, and it would be great if you could choose which kingdom to serve and who to fight for etc.

I've always thought that the US during the prohibition era would be a very very fun setting for an AC game.

There's already a list of places to be considered to be the setting for AC5. Though I wonder, I've seen a guy posting about Philippines revolution online somewhere on a discussion board, begging to spread the word so that the developer would consider it. Sorry to say that I don't think they'll ever consider doing one in Philippines. Reason: The history isn't just that exciting compared to the, say, Victorian London and so on. And you have to consider the game have to SOLD to the US people. Not much use if there's apathy towards the storyline as soon as it is announced.
