Hi everybody! It's considerably beyond the norm for me to post anything like this, but I feel this is a rather special circumstance.

Frontiers is a game currently under development by Lars Simkins - A visual effects currently working on Breaking Bad, who has previously worked on The Hunger Games, Terra Nova, Revolution and many other TV programs and films. His vision is to create a game that is primarily about exploring a beautiful world of wonder and mystery.

If you've ever spend countless hours just running around a world and enjoying the scenery, I urge you to have a look at Frontiers.

Check it out on Kickstarter and Greenlight.

This PSA has been brought to you by Crazee, who humbly apologises for any pain this post may have caused you.

I can't support them via kickstarter, so the best I could do was to upvote on steam greenlight, it looks pretty awesome ^^

Is it going to be as big as Daggerfall? I doubt it :P

It's currently pitched as being over 60 square kilometers. Then there's the possibility of future mods.

I think I saw this before but never really looked into it. Looks like it could be neat.

Upvoted. I love exploring, that's what I spend most of my time doing when I play games like Fallout. I love the idea that exploration>everything else.

I think this game is made for people like you. Those that like to take the scenic route. :p

I'm a little on the fence about it. While I enjoy exploring worlds from a first person perspective, I don't know if it would be enough to satisfy my gaming needs :/

I'm on the fence, 25$ for two copies is a nice bonus. But I'm wondering why it failed on indiegogo. I'm more inclined t o back it up on indiegogo :/

The dev has a post somewhere about why it wasn't so successful on IGG, I'll see if I can dig it up!

No need, I already read it up

It's just, I have 4 backed games in IGG vs 0 in kickstarter so I'm totally new with KS

i like the fast travel system. If it comes with a old style gdr levelling systes/stat it's no brain deal, but seems it's more a Dora tribute game

They certainly have! I'm hoping for the multi-player stretch goal, $125k is a lot though!

Your post made me think: "David Braben should use Kickstarter," then I check and discover that he has already done it and successfully.

Good luck to younger developers.

It should hit the controller support stretch goal within the next couple of days. Why not help it get there. ;)

I wish that was one of the later stretch goals, personally. Things that improve the base game should have been first to be reached.

I can understand that. I personally quite like the idea of controller support, so I'm a happy bunny on that one.

The dev recently had an update all about his reasoning behind the stretch goal order.

Ah, okay, thanks. I haven't read all the updates for that one yet. Been too busy watching the Massive Chalice and Hat in Time once, since I've already backed them.
