Did you ever miss any promotions on Steam games?
None of these games have been free. Metro 2033, Warlock (1) and Tropico (3, I think) were free, but not the ones that you listed :P
EDIT: Warlock 2 was free @Gamersgate, but the keys were revoked.

That's really interesting, but I've heard about Humble Bundle giving out a key once in a while to customers... Really strange when I saw those on my library page...

I think I got it on PC Gamer, but it was still Metro 2033. And now this is different.

i think they gave free "coupons" when you get tropico 3 for free... same for the metro thing

They were using the usual game text but the codes were simply dropping a coupon in your inventory..

and there was no need to redeem it, they activated themself when buying the game (or bundle)

Too many, XCOM being the biggest regret I'd say. I don't think Metro Redux or Tropico 5 were ever free.

I'm tracking couple sites with game promotions so I'm pretty much up to date. I remember there was a price glitch on Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition at one shop, and it was for free, keys weren't revoked as far as I remember. But couple months later I got the same game for 5 euro during promotion at local game shop so it's cool :)

gamesplanet the uk version...people said that they only had 500 good copies and a lot of guys got directly duplicated keys or if they waited the key was activated by other person

Today I found out I won a game on a site this February - the key worked fine, but I never got an email notification, nor the site has a notification. Also, to make it worse I saw that some FREE keys expired, which were a token of appreciation from HumbleBundle. Never got an e-mail and there is another section in the library of the site... I missed Metro Redux Bundle / Metro Redux Free / Overgrowth Alpha / Tropico 5 / Warlock 2.
Mostly I am dissapointed about the Free Metro Redux games - has anything like that happened to you?
