My dad is dealing with prostate cancer right now, his prostate was removed last week and he seems to be handling himself alright after the surgery but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared fucking shitless about it all, I try to act like its not that big a deal and the survival rate is high even if he caught it late but it's just something I don't know how to deal with or think about. Don't usually talk about stuff like that but this hit me right in the feels, I'm sorry for your loss and thankful/inspired you can find motivation to do good from it if that makes any sense. Thanks for doing this and I hope your Movember goes great

Fingers crossed for your father's best recuperation and full remission.
Be strong, brother and be a pillar for your family if you can.
Now it's the time to build up your will and not let the dark thoughts get to you. Believe that he and your family will prevail.
I will pray for you.

Great train...here's another bump, and thanks for the ride. :)

Maybe it is really far-fetched and more of a wishful thinking, but getting a lot of anti-oxidant vitamins and some alkali can prevent cancer... or at least some say it can.
Wishing you all the best of health and everything to you and your family ^_^

To the rabbit hole [(⌒▽⌒)☞][Ended]
This is pretty personal time for me because at the end of the month there are gonna be five years without my father, who we lost to prostate cancer. The battle seemed won, but in a harsh turn on events, he got progressively worse and the lost surprised us all.
It was a grave battle, he was a strong man all of his life. Me and my brother being close to him and participating in Movember from the year we found out about his disease. I am sporting my humble Mo, that is a great conversation starter and I strongly use it for that.
I've found out about some community members that are suffering from chronic illnesses, some having major surgeries and some going through terrible tragedies in their lives. Know that you are in my prayers 💓 Be strong!
Raising awareness about men's health, the Movember movement started 14 years ago in Australia, but now it's global initiative, spreading far from just prostate and testicular cancer.
For some time now it's focusing also on mental health issues and raising awareness about depression and finding ways for suicide prevention.
If you are having any kind of problem, know that you are not alone!
Speak to a family member, a friend, a professional.
There are people that love you and will help you.
Epic shoutout to rafaelgs18 and his amazing ESGST script, which helped me create my longest train so far ( =
Be healthy, be loved, be free, be the best that you can be!

There were few people rocking a Mo at work and we have the nod of approval for each other, but today there was a 45min part of a show dedicated to November, so I had the opportunity to grab my biggest Mo so far :D
