It's finnally the time when I get a new phone. My good ol' NoKia N85 is giving its lasts breaths. It's going to be hard to say goobdye to him, but I need a funtional phone.

So I'm about to buy my 1st Android device! But I can't decide between these 3. The Alcatel from the 3 seems that is the best, but I can't find any useful review.
The ZTE Kis 3(or how is called here, MEO SMART A16) is the cheapest and it has pretty similar specs with the one from Alcatel.
The LG, to be honest, I think is the worst from the 3. But is in my budget(my budget is 85€), but someone said it might be good, so I'll think about it if you guys like it.

As a gamer, I want to play on them (obvious :P), but in this budget I may have not much choices but to keep with casual and simple graphics games. But I also want to do some school work while I'm using them(Office, pdf, etc.) so a good screen would be useful.

Please tell me what you think, and, if other, tell me what other and why. Keep in mind I have a low budget, and I CAN'T go just a little bit up(my mom is already having trouble for me to get a 80€ phone, I can't imagine what happens if I pass this line. Both financial and mental).

I just wrote an essay about Moto E (<80€ new) and Moto G 1st Gen 16GB (<120€ like new) then hit F5 >.<
Well, consider these two as it's the best you can get for your money. I own the Moto G for almost one year now and apart from the SD card slot there ain't one thing I'm missing.

Buy a used android with better specs, new androids under the 100€ mark are really bad.
Moto E seems okeyish.
Sony Xperia E is also good, its definately in your price range.
Also you could buy now a 10-20€ phone to have one and safe up a bit in order to buy a better android later on

An android under 100€? Stay away from that! Most of them are slow and laggy and will not be updated from the Android version they come out with. If you can, try them in a store so you know what you're going to get. From the one you've listed the "ZTE Kis 3" is the best one, has 512 mb of ram, a dual core processor but the most important aspect is that it's equipped with android kitkat (4.4).

My personal suggestions:

  • Buy a windows phone, a lumia 535 or 435, look them up on amazon, on the French site they are quite cheap and you should be able to use them without any problem { Lumia 535 and Lumia 435 } they will both be updated to windows phone 10 when it will come out later this year. (In italy there's even a promotion that let's you buy 535 + 435 for the price of the 535)
  • Save up and buy a better android phone, the "Honor 3c" is a great phone for the price, 140€ on Amazon.it, or the moto E/G, an asus zenphone 2 is coming out soon, etc
  • Buy an used phone, it's a bit risky
  • Stick with the ZTE Kis 3

Edit: Another option is to keep your actual phone and change its battery (if that's the problem) or buy a cheap feature phone just for calls and messages ^^
:)

getting a phone with 512mb of ram would be a huge mistake, the average phone now days has 1gb of ram, and even THAT isnt enough. i have an android razr thats 1gb of ram, and the phone is absolutely putrid and laggy and slow and runs out of ram SUPER fast

4.4 has lower ram requirements so it's still acceptable in that particular case, but yes, you're correct, 1 gb should be the minimum you should aim for. But he's on an extremely tight budget. :)

As a guy who used both Android and iPhone for years... maybe.

Some people like iPhone better. Some people like Android better. They're not exactly the same. I like to get into the guts of my phone, so I lean towards Android. That's what works for me.

Tastes vary.

If you will only once disassemble iphone and any phone on Android (htc, lg, samsung etc) and compare boards under microscope, you will understand why iphone is better ))

iPhone since iPhone 3 is 70% Samsung with LG screen and same assembly technology :D There is no difference. Just aura of wannabe. :D Only defference is case what makes cheaper and older technology more expensive. But still - production costs only 200$. To keep it so low with such a good material of cases requires save up on technology. For example Samsung S5 cost 250$ to make and it have plastic case but no money saving on technology. HTC One M8 is similar case as iPhone etc. :D

I'm not talking about case and how it looks. I'm talking about quality of board.

Alcatel Pop C3 is best for gamers from your list. ZTE kis is the weak and never heard about that LG Maximo :D

You should check these (all have similar price in my country - around 80 Euro) :
Goclever Quantum 450
Kazam Trooper 2 5.0
LG Optimus L5 II
Gigabyte Gsmart Roma R2
Sencor Element P400
Sony Xperia E1
ZTE Blade G
Huawei Ascend Y330
Lenovo A319
LG Optimus L4 II

LG have weakest CPU from the list.
