No, it does not. But I played games that required 5.0 and I had no problem. Well, actually I'm sure those games supported 4.0 as well but I somehow was expecting a performer to support older hardware. Oh well, I'm planing on upgrading soon anyway.
Still, I don't see the connection between PS and 100% CPU. Any hints?

I never had problems with their games or Uplay, except with HoMM VI.

It might just be "only a platformer" but the simple fact of the matter is our card doesnt meet the minimum specifications.

True but that's the issue. It's not a 3D game with fance shadows, reflections, lights etc. That's why I consider those requirements kinda odd.

Yes, purchase a new desktop/build a new desktop that meets the recommended specs.

Planing on doing it anyway. Still, I find it odd that a simple platformer has these system requirements.

Hi guys,
I just got my hands on Assassin's Creed Chronicles - China and it seams I'm having some weird issues.
Every time I start the game, it hangs in background, eating 100% CPU and almost freezing my PC.
I have an old system (GeForce 285GTX + Intel Quad Core 2.5) but still, it's only a platformer. I was able to play Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider on Ultra and 1680 x 1050.
Also, the game starts in DX9 mode so I doubt it's a DX11 issue.
Any ideas?
