I had an error messsage about Spiral Knights not being in my region when I clicked the link from here but where I clicked the link from the "Free to Play" page it worked, maybe it's just a temporary problem?

Can you just install and play or do you need to make a seperate account?

With Spiral Knights only need to install, can use sega and steam acc to login

You can login in game using FB acc or Sega acc or Steam acc, I use steam not needed to create acc just login

God damn MMOs and my addictive personalities do not mix. Oh well, I'm downloading Spiral Knights, Alliance of Valiant Arms, and Forsaken World. I read a quick review saying Forsaken World competes with Rift so I hope for the best.

global agenda has been free for two or three months now...

edit: actually they removed the monthly fees a few months ago. it had still a one-time fee for getting it, which seems to be gone now too

Have been looking forward to play Spiral Knights. Then after download finished, the game just disappeared from my Steam Library. <sadface>

last time i played AVA the snipers have no physics. . . meaning anywhere you shoot in the scope it WILL hit

That doesn't need to be a bad thing :) I honestly prefer a sniper to be more precise without the bullet drop and all that stuff. Like at BC2 and blops the snipers are based on so much luck. Having a near perfect aim and direct hits just feels like there's more skill involved :)

I dunno, I like the sniping in BC2. Just gotta take into account your distance, and leading. That to me feels like more still involved than a direct rail

^agreed. although i havent played BC2, BattleField P4F does it like that too. and making a headshot from 200+ metres after carefully calculating the distance of the target and the bullet speed and dropoff: awesome

That's what exactly I was talking about. If you want to advance you'd need to spend Energy at the elevator (usually 10E per depth). Extra areas also need Energy to get into.

They only give out 100 Mist Energy per 24 hours. If you use it all up, you'll need to wait for Mist Energy to fill up or pay for Crystal Energy. Crowns can be exchanged to Energy, but that'd mean I've to spend hours to collect Crowns.

Heat (exp) is also kinda slow to obtain. Want to acquire Heat faster? Just pay for Heat booster which will last for 48 hours. If you change you gears, you'll have to collect Heat for your new gears, otherwise they'll be pretty weak.

The game itself is really entertaining and fun. But I just couldn't afford to spend more hours into this game, or I'll have to quit my job. If I want to advance faster, I'll have to pay for temporary digital items. I'd rather keep those money for new games. And that's why I decided to quit.

you can always buy more energy with in game points also the lifespan of the energy is 2 hours. . . and "heat" doesn't matter due to all your equipment being maxed out at lvl 10, and even then when you max out everything and you buy a new equipment it levels up 10x faster because you dont have to give it to other equipment.

Loving me the free steam achievements on Spiral Knights and Champions. There's supposed to be promotion stuff each day, won't know till 10am pst. They did add a Spiral Knights promo hat for tf2 so I can't wait to grab that. Probably get free tf2 stuff for downloading and playing the game once for each.
