First, if someone wins a giveaway from me and clicks received, I delete the key ,but the click is not final. I think five minutes is enough to detect a fault or should i keep the key to the end of time? The only ones need more then five minutes are regifter. And yes I had such a case. Secondly, I think that after the last steam update now dlcs are visible over the steamprofile and so you should update your filter.

keep the key to the end of time

Well, yes, if you wanted to, you can keep it to the end of time.

I don't get what the problem is here, but here's a helpful thing, you have 7 days after a giveaway ends to deliver the game and the winner should activate it as soon as possible.
If you think that a winner did not activate one of the games that they won through you and regifted/traded it, you can contact support.

Please excuse my bad english , so it probably was not understood . The problem is that the winner at any time can take back the "received"-click again.

Oh, yeah, they can do that.
The only reason anybody would do that for is them being hateful kids, and I think reporting them to support would be helpful.
And yes, there's no reason for the (recieved/not-recieved) to still be changeable after 7 days of a giveaway ending.
Good suggestion.

I guess it is there because gifts can get revoked. Without that, an evil user could gain CV with fraudulent purchases that get revoked over time.
By the way, a user who would tick "not received" while actually having received the game would expose himself to permanent ban (punishment for "Misuse of Giveaway Feedback" according to http://www.steamgifts.com/roles ).

If they clicked 'received', I don't see why you can't remove the key from being listed, if you want to, since according to site rules, they've confirmed activation, not receipt.

Rather, screenshot the page showing that it was marked as received, and use that if it comes up with support.
Presumably, if you have that evidence to share, if it's been more than 7 days since the giveaway ended, it'll be on the recipient, and if it's been less, then it'll be on you to reactivate the key.

Flip side, if you don't have that screenshot, it may be on you all-around- though I THINK staff can see edits to the key entry, so you may be okay there, as well.

On that note, I'd suggest editing it to a blank key, rather than 'unsending' it, that's just putting the pressure back on you.

You're saying that if a person doesn't activate a game after 5 minutes, they're a regifter? Winner has 7 days to activate a game.

Please excuse my bad english , so it probably was not understood. What I mean is that the " received" click should be binding and that five minutes is enough if you have clicked on the wrong one.

"Binding" is a strong word - I know I had a case where a key that worked just fine was removed from my library 2 weeks later by Valve because of an issue with "payment". The gifter was able to get the issue resolved and I eventually got another key, but in the meantime, I had to use the "Not Received" option or I would have looked like a re-gifter.

Surely no one would click received until they'd entered the key into Steam and checked it has worked?

I had such a case. One clicked " received" and then I have the key deleted. After a few days he changed to "not received" but I was not able to check whether I had made a mistake. I got a bad giveaway for.

Perhaps he marked trusting the key would be there visible just because he wanted that you get the CV before he had the appropriate circumstance to effectively activate it. Then come back and found the key had disappeared, so marked as not received.
Just speculating from your info. Still of course I and probably you don't know the full story after that situation. Or the real winner intentions.

No i have send the key over SG and then he clicked "received" and i deleted the key from my documents. Then after few days he clicked "not received" and says the key wasnt good. But because i deleted it form my documents i counldnt check it. i think it was a "hateful kid" very unfriendly. Support couldnt help me and give me a bad giveaway. But my question ist, for what i cant change it after i clicked it? it is not sufficient if only the support can that?

Now I got it, the delete I thought it was from /created list of keys.

It's allowed to change because for example if you had bought the game using a stolen credit cars/account or just if the purchase get's cancelled, provider will probably request to steam to delete/destroy the key. So winner could end with a game deleted from library and facing the problem of having said received.

On the other hand imagine the case of the game or key being provided after 7 days and marked as not received.

Oh, I think I get your question now.
No, just hold on to the keys for a few weeks in backup, to be safe.
Once a few weeks have gone by, you should be safe to delete your copies of them.

Well, if user pressed "received", he should already activated the key. From this point of view you doing all right.
But, sadly, there is no protection for gifter on this site... So, if winner change to "not received" after 7 days - he would be considered innocent. The best way is probably to do a screenshot of giving the key to winner, to have proofs...

Starting with second, I have more DLCs than my games which won't show over in profile so wrong suggestion.

Coming to first, so you want to keep your ability to delete keys after the GA is done but you also want winners ability to mark revoked? Why do you even delete the keys in the first place since you are the first I've heard? It is between you, winner and support, deleting on site neither grants winner still keeps it, nor support can't access since everything is logged even if you delete it.

What you can do is this; be sure write your requirements (non conflicting with site rules) in GA description. Do not enter key until you checked winner via http://www.sgtools.info/ plus your concerns. Archive winner's page to show winner did not have the game before. Archive again after he activated and marked as received. If any time he decides change his mind you can prove you have given the key activated on his account.

I suggest to be not paranoid over keys by deleting and winner will always have that right to mark it as not received since some users give keys/gifts that are revoked/removed later due many circumstances thus to mark it as not received after months.

You can see DLCs? So if you search for "cities in motion" for example you can see the "Cities in Motion: Design Quirks" DLC in your game list? I can't see that.

youre right. but searching for "DLC" you can see a lot others. but these dont hide on SG. also packs i own all parts.

Yeah but that's nothing new.
Also I have no idea how the Steam Web API works that provides the data about which games and DLCs you own on steam, but it's something completly different than the games that are shown in your list on steam.
For example there is no DLC for Sonic & All-Stars transformed in my games list, but if I check on SG which games and DLC I own the Metal Sonic and Outrun DLC is in that list.

But what if someone can't activate the key within 5 minutes after he clicked recieved cause he hasn't enough disk space ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I never heard about someone deleting the keys after the winner clicked on received. It doesn't even makes any sense to me. If I would plan to regift or sell the key I would just copy the key and save them in a document or something like that.
What if someone trusted you and clicked on received before they redeemed the key (Yeah It's stupid to do so....) and then later they want to activate the key and see that it's gone? They'll lost the won game cause they trusted you, and you get a "not received" so its a lost for booth sites...

Of course no one should click on recieved before they activate the key, but still some guys are doing this for whatever reasons...
And not they are not all regifters, that is just a theory you set up without any evidence...

It happened twice to me that someone marked a GA as received before I've sended it. But when I check their steam profile or sgtools I can see, that they activate the game.
That proof at least for me that your theory is wrong...
Also it's not hard at all to see if someone is a regifter or not, it's not like there is no way to check it.

What do you mean with "not enough disk space?" You can acitvate games but not install it. It doesn't take any diskspace to do so...

You could make another document to keep the sent keys in plus a date. Then after a couple of weeks just delete it from that document. That way you still have the key, but not in your main keylis.
