Nope.
As for the OP, that is why I make my contributor-only giveaways at .99 increments instead of a solid dollar (eg. 4.99).

I don't think the people saying "Send more gifts" and such are even thinking about it. If you've given away $4.99 worth of games and then give away a $14.99 game, you've then given away $19.98 and will not be able to enter a contributor giveaway with a $20 threshold despite giving away (essentially) $20 worth of games.

... and? What's your point? Round it up? But when what about those who gave away $19.97? We should round those up too, or they'll be complaining. Then what about those with $19.96? Then $19.95?
Gift. More.

Are you really that naive? It should be rounded the same as the points needed to enter them. A $9.99 game requires us to spend 10 points to enter, so why isn't the gifter given $10 in value? If the rounding is done on a per game basis, then you wouldn't run into the problem you're illustrating.

Then we should also round down Dawn of War Franchise Packs to $150. You know, it'd only be fair.

Hmm, so that Sega collection that was worth ~428 dollars?
We should make it only 150 dollars worth, since you know, it costs 150 points to enter it.
So, yeah, it's completely fair that way.

Yeah, because that's the same thing
I forget how stupid people are on the Internet.

I think I'm going to set all my contributor giveaways to $XX.01 now, just to be a delightful bastard and screw up your plan. <3 I think you're missing the point. The creator sets the price. If they want it to be $9.99, then they'll set it as $9.99. If they want it as $10, then suck it up and donate more to breach that limit if it's so important to you.

You're missing the point too though...the more you give, the farther away from a flat dollar you go (until you donate a multiple of 100). So the creator can only do so much. For example, I set my last giveaway at $9.99. This allows people who donated a $9.99 or greater game to enter my giveaway, which was my goal, but if someone donated two $4.99 games, they'd be shit out of luck, because they'd be at $9.98. I fail to see any reason why .99 shouldn't be rounded up for contributor value to alleviate this issue. Just seems like a rather simple fix.

Not always. If the contributor-only giveaway ends in one hour or less, they won't get credit in time.

Same here, no need to whine.
If you have $19.99, and the giveaway requires $20.00, well, you haven't given away enough yet, then.

I will set all my future contributor giveaways to 666$
Only true spawns of Satan will be able to enter them

She did it on purpose, cause "There's no better gift than to see kanga rage" ;_;

Am I the only one who gets bugged at how games are generally $xx.99 while contributions are generally locked at $xx.00?
Like how a game you send is worth 4.99 or 9.99, then you see people set 5.00 or 10.00 minimum contributions to enter their contests?
