Do Steam Keys Expire?

Hey All,
Okay so i have some keys, but they are like 6 months old, i don't know if they are still active. Do Keys expire?
Should i create giveaways? what happens if they are expired?

Edit/update : Okay, figured out why they haven't been gifted or used, a bunch a free games i must have gotten in cheap bundles or something.

I think some HB keys do expire after a certain amount of time. I'm not sure how long, though.

most do not, however as BHTrellis188 stated some are setup to.
typically they are well stated upon purchase.

No, keys do NOT expire unless it is EXPLICITLY stated when purchasing that they do.
