I have a guitar, but I don't have the Real Tone Cable.........

I live in the US...

Yeah, they're a UK based seller, and even though Steam can sell it in the US, and though GMG can sell other products in the US, somehow they can't sell Rocksmith in the US. Ubisoft isn't worth much, in my opinion. I'd probably have purchased it, too.

Incubus and MCR are going first for me, not sure about the rest :D (on bass though)

The cable's not exactly cheap, but it's still cheaper than buying the fullpriced game+cable

I think you're getting the same issue I'm getting. I'm from the US, and apparently GMG doesn't have the rights to sell it in the US or something, even though Steam can.
Has anyone from the US been able to purchase it without a proxy or anything?

Yeah, me too. I'm disappointed about this. Maybe I should send in a support ticket.

with a total worth of over 500 dollars ... fk you, ubisoft

"Total worth" meaning you buy song 1, 2 and 3 for 3€ each, and then again pack which contains all 3 for 8€. So no, I wouldn't say it's over $500.

let it be even 100$. 30 bucks for the game, 30 for the cable and 100 for dlc's? That's stupid. One song should be 0.3 $ rather than 3$.

$2 would be a great price, or $5 for 3pack. But still, considering that for $3 you get the most accurate tabs for a song for solo, rythm and bass guitar, and not just 'regular' tabs, but you can make them go slower, you can adjust the difficulty etc etc, it's still a good price, I'd just like to get a better deal for it.

I bought only the cable. I would certanly buy a full ALL-DLC-INCLUDED version for 50 or 60 dollars if there would be one. But even 5$ for 3-pack is just greed in my opinion.

I HAVE DREAMED SO LONG OF THIS GAME. When I first got to play Guitar Hero (or something), I was like "Oh wow, imagine if somehow you could do it with REAL guitar, how cool would that be :o But is that even possible :( "
And then some time later "HELLO FRIEND HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF ROCKSMITH" and I was like "HELL NAW" and they were like "HELL YEAH" and then there was like this amazon "Yo dawg we heard you like playing while playing so we put a massive discount on this awesome game so you can play while you play" and I was like "YO EBAY, DELIVER CABLE PLS" and everyone be all like "YO KANGA TALK TO US IT'S BEEN THREE HOURS ALREADY, TAKE A BREAK ALREADY"

I don't have money for it or want it anyhow, but is this even worth it for people who already play guitar, or is it just an instructional thing? I've played for 20 years now and don't need something to teach me.
Stupid that you have to buy the cable too. I have 5 guitars and equipment up the arse, I don't need any more stuff. Then again it's not like they can magically push the cable through the screen at you. Eh.
I don't know why I'm asking this, I don't want the damn game anyhow. Just curious.

I'd imagine it's still fun. In the base game you get ~40 songs with arrangements for bass, rythm and solo guitar. In the end it's up to your liking if it's worth it. Depends how much satisfaction you get from hitting the right notes and getting ingame points for it :D
I mean sure, you could learn all those songs by ear or by reading 'regular' tabs, but this is much more fun. Basically, if you enjoy any type of Rock Band and similar games, this is definitely worth it.
Ah and also, besides the ability to learn to play songs, there are built-in amps (there's an amp mode where you just fiddle around), pedals and a whole lot of them, it's really fun to play around with it.

And now i get the mail saying that ubisoft games are up to 75% off, that is every game that is on discount is 75% off except rocksmith

Bandfuse is only on consoles, there is no PC version.
