My clock inside me says: 10 hours of sleep to feel good in the morning (and the "morning" cannot start before 9 a.m.) and to cheerfully turn off the alarm without touching the sneeze button :3
6 hours is the minimum for me to survive the day without any additional naps, though. And last insomnia episode taught me that I can indeed function with 2 hours of sleep daily. But that's not life, more like hell then.
It often ends in ~4 hours of sleep anyway, there are so many things to do before going to bed! ;_;

I try to get 8 hrs, but vary from 6-9.
Also this is the Sleep I thought you were referring to.

Haha, not what I was referring to but this stuff is pretty good! In the vein of sleeping:

glad i have the comfort of 7 hours now, but winter is cold and dark -
waking up is shitty still > might get one of them fancy philips wake up lights

I have had a sunrise alarm for the past 5 years, it's absolutely amazing. It feels like waking up naturally. The light has only failed to wake me up a couple times (which is why a backup audio alarm is always a good idea). Also, the "sunset" function is really helpful in getting to sleep in the first place. Now that I think of it, I don't think I have ever had to change the light bulb either.
In short, I highly recommend getting one!

Thanks for the reply, sounds like it should definitely get one of those with good ratings.

6-7 (rarely 8) and I only sleep at nights, never midday.

I usually sleep less than 6 hours or less during week days... It is too much work for little time available... :T
In weekends (without parties) I usually sleep what I didn't during week. :P
I can say that my sleep is always late, as much as my schedule to sleep.

6 hours during the night everyday, on weekends might extend it to 6 and a half ^^;

Well... Lately I don't sleep at night.. But during the day.. :X .. also lately I've been sleeping tooo much... Like 12-13 hrs :| though it has its ups and downs. Two days ago I only slept 2 hrs, so yeah.. Trying to fix my day rhythm and also to not sleep that much.. It isn't going too well ^^''
My sleeping pattern has always been weird and random through out my whole life lol.

8-9 during the night.
Then in the morning I stay in bed awake for around ~ 1 hour
Then another 1 hour nap during the afternoon.
I really like sleeping :^)

8? 9? It depends, sometimes I get up early for a while, and sometimes I go to bed early for a while. These days, unless I have work, I go to bed at 3am, sometimes 4am, and wake up around eleven.

depends, 6-7 hours maybe, even if I keep waking up again and again sometimes (not much effort to sleep again tho :P)

5.5-6.5 hours. Around 7-8 hours on when I don't work since there's no alarm (though I wish I'd just get up earlier on my own).

I aim for ten hours of sleep every night, usually get about nine. After chatting with some folks, it appears I may be something of an outlier.
How many hours do you sleep each night?
