Same. My language for gaming was almost exclusively english, save a few hungarian originals/translation (Like Imperium Galactica 2) - I really respect the work of translators, but I prefer it in original/english.

depends - I played Witcher in my native language - because it's polish game so best quality gonna be in polish (not to mention all folklore and cultural references which will be understandable only for poles and may get lost in translation). But in general unless game was polish developed I will not play it in polish ;p I will play in english and with either english or polish subtitles (depending on a game, cause obviously as a pole I will read polish text much quicker than english text, but at the same time quality of polish subs translation gotta be on a good level - and especially for indie games it's not always the case ;p).

Most Spanish speakers do. I don't (I'm from Spain), but the average English level in Spain (and I guess in Latin America too) is very low. Also, there are a lot of Spanish speakers out there, so it's easy to find other players who speak Spanish.

But, honestly, I don't find that message obtrusive at all. It could have been way worse than that. For instance:
