I played it online back when it was in beta years ago, never bought the full game though since I didn't like some of the downgrades it had over SC1 (LAN play mostly). I have so many steam games atm that I probably wont bother trying it again (still need to play my copy of Rusted Warfare, which I think is supposed to be like a somewhat more basic SC1).

Free 2 Play includes:
- Wings of Liberty Campaign: The award-winning StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty story campaign is free in its entirety.
- Versus Mode: Access Unranked and Versus AI for free; unlock Ranked with 10 first wins of the day in Unranked or Versus AI.
- Commanders up to Level 5: Kerrigan, Raynor, and Artanis are completely free, and all other Commanders are free up to level 5.
In other words, you can now play all of StarCraft II’s multiplayer, every Co-op Commander (most limited to level 5), and the entire first campaign in the single-player story, for free.
Is it live yet? I guess not.

So was WoL Campaign.
Not sure about versus.

Are you refering to the "Starter Edition"? It was much more limited:
- Only the first 4 missions on the Wings of Liberty campaign.
- Only the 2 first challenge missions
- Only Terran available in custom games
- Restricted to 4 specific custom maps
Not even sure if Commanders were accessible to Starter Edition players.

As for commanders I'm pretty sure about first three being free. You could get more just by buying respective campaigns.
With Battle Chest have 7 commanders unlocked.
Which is kinda odd... I assumed you get one for each campaign bought, no idea why I got 7th

Play the killer of the RTS genre/those that made that happen? Id rather kill myself. Its infested with godlike sweaty try hard esport pros anyway, same as in the original SC, played 1 match, lost horribly, uninstalled. The custom game mode maps were fun but those seem gone now... maybe one day il hop back on but.... nah... i just want State of War remastered ASAP, and for millions of people to suddenly buy Red Alert 3, because thats the only language EA speaks, money, to get them to make RA4...but... i know it will just be a shell of its former self, like Need for Speed Paywall is right now... pluss you neglected to mention only WoL is free to play, the only good part about the game that still sucks balls compared to the OG SC.

There're coop modes, there's the awesome single player campaign, and there're custom maps and plenty other reasons to play besides the competitive standard matches, which I'd never try as well.

I downloaded SCII Starter Pack days ago, way before the 14th of November. Is that one the FREE VERSION?
I noticed that I can already play the campaign, but I can't play 1vs1 or 2 vs bots.
I'm already playing the FREE Version promised by BLIZZARD ?
If yes, why I don't have to wait the 14th ?

I agree with him. You are not gonna get the full experience, you didn't pay until now to get the full experience, so starting 1/3 of the campaign probably makes you want to play the rest of it. In my case, I didn't pay for it until now, so I won't do it now.

Currently there's a Campaign Collection dynamic bundle on sale. I owned the first three campaigns and purchased the bundle yesterday to get the complete Nova Covert Ops campaign for $9.22 USD. I purchased it in-game under the Collection tab.
