Well the problem seems to be seeing too many games you don't want. By ignoring those games you're dealing with the problem. I don't see anything wrong with the contributor giveaways system itself, especially with the value cap for bundled games. The front page spam can be solved with the enhancement addon, so where's the issue?

The add on is so awesome, I can't imagine what the front page would look like without it!

There is no problem except the one you have with the games in question. People are entering so obviously there is interest in the game just because you are not doesn't mean a thing. Bundle games have a limit you get contributor status from so not sure where I see any problems myself.

I always thought it wasn't; sure it has an upside to it, which is the increasing number of giveaways in general (not just bundle ones), but it caused and probably will cause way too much drama to be worth it in my opinion.
As of now, I'm indifferent about them. Until there's no people who can genuinely cheat the system, and there's no sound whining about these cheaters and the generalized bundle givers, I'm okay with it.

Yes.
The last changes of the site don't give the full value of SteamStore when you give one single game that is in bundles (for every game your contributor value go down 20% or something like that i don't know how that works but remember to read), so the mods are working well in that matter.

Yeah, I like the concept still. Even requiring .01 contributed hopefully gets rid of some bots or tolls. Also, I dont mind people giving away indie bundle stuff. Sometimes I don't want a bundle if there's only one decent game in there, and it's nice to try for it on here. Also, I like it when people giveaway stuff... even if it's near worthless... someone might want it. Share the love!

Yes, it was a good idea.
These bundle games get plenty of entries which mean they are wanted also, so its fine. Just use the Addon to filter them.

In the beginning it seemed so, but ever since then a large amount of the games given away are single games from cheap indie bundles which clutter the main page with uninteresting content and constantly decrease giveaways value.
I know I am not the best contributor myself, I am more an ordinary user here, but day after day I lose interest of checking steamgifts website, when awhile ago that was pretty much one of the funniest places to linger on while surfing the web. Not trying to be a hater here, I simply wonder am I alone in this or others share my views too?
I assume that has been discussed more or less previously, but I am not sure if there was a thread specifically about that recently, but do correct me if I'm wrong.
