Every time I decide "OK, today I'm going to dust the house today!" I go over the entire house, and then after I finish dusting, I go back and everything still has dust on it! I know I took a lot of the dust off but there's always more dust that seems to take it's place.

I've tried a wet paper towel, a cloth with an anti-duster spray on it, dust cloth (kind you use on computers/small objects), and nothing is working effectively to remove the dust :/

Anyone know some good ol' house dusting tips they use? Or heck, some sort of anti-dust formula?

You mean you really dust whole house? Wow, you're incredible! Maybe someday I will become as diligent as you. Maybe. Someday.

Stop living (dust is coming from us after all) or stop caring so much.

Vacuuming is more important for dust than dusting.
If you leave downtown or in a dusty place in general don't leave the windows open too much.
Tidiness helps about 60% or more. If your floor isn't covered with clothes, your desk isn't full of books and things are in their place dust doesn't settle everywhere.
Also Swiffer saves lives.

I'm disappointed that you did not link to Dustforce instead. Clearly they are the best option! :P

Work from top to bottom, always moisten your microfibre or electrostatic cloths before using (this collects and keeps the dust in the cloth instead of just moving it around), vacuum after dusting, change vacuum filters regularly. Clean your carpets (various products for this). Use a wet mop for floors if you can (optional). That's about it, I think.

Use a moist cloth, like an old undershirt. As you wipe the dust up, you should see it build up on the moist cloth. When the cloth is filthy, toss it in the laundry and switch to another old undershirt. You really don't need anything else.
