If you sign up on this free polish site it gives you free multiplayer keys and you just keep signing up for more keys. Hence why it's multiplayer only. I read that on the steam forums years ago.

As a top contributor to this great website, who doesn't do that unlawful stuff, I second that.

One one hand, Esquillax is sharing polish-exclusive deals with the members of this site, and doesn't gain any benefits from being a "top contributor"; on the other hand Esquillax isn't stating that the copies can be gotten free for polish members - or via a proxy for non-polish members.

I don't think Esquillax's intentions were bad; but it would've been nice to tell people the copies were and can be obtained for free with the giveaway description - if Esquillax reads this forum thread, I've no doubt in-hindsight they'd agree.

To reiterate an important point, Esquillax doesn't gain anything from being a top contributor; so there really isn't any need to hate them

If we're getting concerned over the gifters and not the giftees (say BlueLegion) then something's wrong here

Honestly I doubt Esquilax cares about being top contributor or being on the front page. I remember him mentioning in chat that he wanted to "single-handedly revive Dark Messiah multiplayer" :D

He did nothing wrong in my opinion. I agree that he shouldn't be listed as #1 contributor, but it's just how the site works at the moment. U don't gift away games to be #1 on some kinda list. I'm pretty sure he only wanted to do something for the community ^^
