WHAAAT?! You missed Insurgency?

Like I said, not everyone is on the PC 24 / 7, I've had people take days to respond to my request, and even hit a few rerolls based on the 7 day rule.

The last guy I chatted with about a giveaway has been offline for 4 days now. I know, unbelievable, how could you be away for 4 whole days? :-) Not everybody hangs around on Steam all the time, or even the Internet. Nor is everyone as eager to receive their games as you think they should be.

Because you're interested in the game? Is there a rule that says you have to be in front of you computer every single day? I usually am but I know people who come here once a week and use a secondary email address just for this. They wouldn't know they've won until it's too late. Also, someone could be away for a few days because of work, be in a hospital, be on a trip for vacations.

The FAQ states that the gift has to be claimed within 7 days for a reason. You can't expect people to just be around when your giveaway ends.

I dont visit steamgifts often enough to notice if I win something the same day, and sometimes I just dont open Steam so unless the giveaway creator contacts me via email, I probably wont see it until two or three days later.
