Does it show up in your steam library ?

If it does: no amount of syncing on SG will help, it's a Valve related problem, please contact Steam support.

If it does not show up, you have to sync your account on SG.

Its because you have it in "recently played". It takes ~2 weeks before you can enter to L4D2 giveaway.

their sync is broken, look I had the game uninstalled, my steam profile does not even have left 4 dead 2. I just sync just now. and it still think I own L4d2. tried resync a few times over a couple of hours, no luck, lol
