First time I played on PC with any legitimate notion of having any idea of what I was doing was probably in 1998 when I was six with two of my still favorite games. Might and Magic II and Xcom Ufo Defense. I will admit that I had a better grasp of Xcom though, M&M2 is a pretty complex game for a six year old.

27... it was 1884 the Germans were surrounding us... we were low on food... we knew most of us, if not all of us were going to die in the next 10 minutes...

I was 8 when I first played on a TRS-80 Color Computer by Radio Shack in 1982. Was 10 when I played first on a PC (a 8088 with CGA video card) and was amazed as my parents had told me that PC didn't have games at that time and that they were for serious stuff. Two years later I had stacks of floppies, mastered the DOS command-line and my father had a hard time doing any actual work on his computer until I went to bed.

When i was about 5 or 6 I used to play those old learning games on my computer (treasure island/treasure cove/treasure mountain, freddy fish, putt putt) then a little later I upgraded to Age of Empires and Fury 3, which are actual games. I used to love those.

I was a late bloomer when it came to pc's, was a console kiddie from real early, first game I played was pong or some variant of it on a machine that used tape cassettes, got my first pc in 2001 at the ripe old age of 33, been hooked ever since.

Hmmm... i don't remember how old i was... But if we talking about PC as IBM-PC architecture then i think the first PC game was Operation Wolf (on i486), and i loved it ;) If we talking about PC generaly it was Toshiba MSX, but i don't remember what game could be that first one (i was too young).

I think I was like 9 or 10 years old. Could be younger but it was so long ago that I don't remember these kinds of things.

I was 11 months old. Played Doom with my dad on his lap (to be fair I only opened doors) as well as this educational game I played by myself where I had to rescue these shape-shifting knights who were keys to open the castle and save the king.
I'd be surprised if anyone was younger than me.

Well, the educational game I played by myself when I was maybe 1.5 years old.
