A friend of mine recently posted something on Facebook:

"Alex [her boyfriend] and I are looking for a game to play together...we have computers, PS3, XBox, and Wii...I don't like platformers or shooters...anyone have any suggestions of something check out?"

I was wondering if any in the SteamGifts community happened to know anything about local multiplayer games that aren't platformers or shooters! I certainly don't.

Be aware that it's still in Early Access and the mutliplayer portion only recently went into beta phase.

Path of Exile is apparently good multiplayer and a fair F2P.
Monaco is hilarious fun.
You can play Baldur's Gate 2 co-op which is probably close to 150 hours of one of the greatest western RPG's ever.
The LEGO games are actually good fun, even for adults.
