Random question regarding cd keys.

Ok so i'm curious if say I activated a retail key for a game on Steam, would it still be redeemable on other places that lets you redeem keys such as Gamersgate and I think Desura(if i'm spelling that right, not to sure what it is but I keep seeing people talk about it.)

Normally, no. There should be a sticker saying this game activates on Steam and that's it. I could go in details, but you don't need them for now ;)

as for me i activated battlefield bad company 2 on steam and on origin , same thing with medal of honor

Was this before or after the whole EA only putting their games on Origins?

you can activate most of your EA steam keys on origin to have it on both platforms.
