Well, I tried it for already an hour but I still don't get it. There are infinite possibilities...
A giveaway link looks like www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/xxxxx (with 5 letters/numbers) and you gave us these 8 letters "VTVQwJwV" plus a headline and text with some grammar mistakes.
Are these mistakes part of the puzzle or not? Is the headline part of the puzzle or not? Are the missing or the existing letters important? Are these letters in the Code "VTVQwJwV" in the right order or do you have to swap or replace them? Questions over questions, no helpful answers and an infinite amount of possibilities... I am out ;)

You won't be able to extract the 5-digit code from the 8 digits above. They are used on a different website. That's the best hint I can give. I'll post the "answer" when the GA ends. Good luck!

"They are used on a different website".
Ah ok, so I was on the wrong way. Thank you for this hint, but I have no idea on which website such a code could be used.
I look forward to the "answer" in 1-2 days when the giveaway ends ^^

8 more hours, that's more than enough time to try a few more websites (:

nah you're good! I'm amazed at how much less prevalent this certain thing seems compared to the last time I was really on forums, aka 5 months ago with my last GA.

If one idea isn't working, try to think of another!

n i havn't made 1 in five months oh no
VTVQwJwV
ends aug 2
OKAYSO.
The first thing you needed was to know what to do with that code. As I mentioned, I hadn't made a giveaway in 5 months, and while I've been using the app to enter giveaways in that time, I hadn't had a chance to spend much time on the forums. It seems that the prevalence of using this website right here has gone way down. So anyway, that's what you were supposed to do with the code.
Second, you had to figure out what to do with all those random words. Once you figured out one answer, the rest were probably a simple grammar review. As I mentioned in the comments, the concept applies to all languages, so while it was easier for native English speakers, it should have been possible for anyone. The answer is what type of speech each word is, so 1 is noun, 3 is pronoun, 8 is preposition....once you found out any of them, the rest were either somewhere in your brain from gradeschool, or could be googled easily.
Third, you had to know what to do with the five-digit code at the end. I'm assuming you all knew that it would take you to this giveaway here.
Thanks for participating, and congrats to everyone who solved it! This puzzle had the lowest solve rate of any I've made, below 10% completion. wowowowowowow.
