I don't know

My personal opinion on this that its somewhat good(such as testing your eyesights and how faster you are),but also bad because not everyone has the speed and sights of a hawk and the fact that it somewhat feels generic. But ethier way,i would know real reasons why.

That would be me. :)
Like you said, the guys at Buka were great and awarded me games as well. All in all, it was a bit of fun, it didn't take too long, and I got some freebies in the process.
A tip: some "bukas" may be hidden in the screenshots shown of the games. When I won, one of them was.

Games aren't that great, most of them, but free is always good.

So participating will be nice, at least for fun, reminds me of WoW event during Easter.

Not sure why anyone would be interested in their shovelware trash to actively try to work on some puzzle to go after it.

They actually have quite a few interesting, non-casual, games, even though some are not very recent. Collapse (a mixture of third-person shooter, with hack and slash action mechanics), Marauder (a strategy/RPG title that features a few elements similar to the Jagged Alliance titles), and the titles from the The Hard Truck Apocalypse/Ex Machina series, and the Battle Mages series, are quite fun.

I also really enjoyed a game they released, which is currently not on Steam: Midnight Nowhere, a rather bizarre, over-the-top, and quite frankly insane point and click adventure game, full of foul language, nudity, and mutilations:

Won on the second day and got 2 games. It was easy. I found a total of 4 "Boo-Bukas" and decided that it is not enough. But it turned out to be correct. Thanks guys from Buka, they published many foreign games in Russia. Good luck!

This is a cool initiative really, wouldn't mind seeing other publishers doing something similar haha. Found out about it late on day 7, somehow managed to win on day 8 and get 8 games. Really happy cause I've enjoyed the Battle Mages games way back and I've heard good things about Collapse. Thanks Buka! Surprised not more people participated, some good games in there and all with cards!

Easy hidden object game is definitely better event than Steams pointless clicking :)
I was really surprised when I looked at their catalogue and realized that I own only few of their games, so I figured that it would be nice to add more games to my collection and, woohoo.. won twice already, and probably also third time today ^^ (pure skill :D) Only thing that sucks is that you need to be the first to find all Boo-Bukas for that day of the event -.-
Also, this is not first time that Buka is giving away games, they also had around new year big giveaway, but it was limited to Russia, IIRC. If you remember the Collapse giveaway spam from friendly russian exploiters on steamgifts, that's what I m talking about :)
