Recommend me some story based games!

Any point 'n' click.
Any visual novel.
Any interactive novel like TellTale's new portfolio or Life is Strange.

There should be plenty enough games with any of these tags among your 1500 or so untouched ones.

Any hidden object game is great if looking for story.

Also I really enjoyed story in "The turing test" and "firewatch". Turing test is quit easy. Not avery long gameplay or complicated puzzle. But the voice acting and story writing is really great. Firewatch - simple game. I don`t know what really draw me to it, but The story was engaging and emotional. Feeling along the protagonist.
At the moment Im playing "Enslaved : odyssey to the west". The game has a pretty interesting story and really beautiful scenary throughout the game.

This might be quit obvious, but who knows, maybe youve just forgot about this one - Mass effect series. Oh my god - how I love the story in these games. Especially the third one. It`s dark and emotional. But you still get this great feeling from it...

Besides the usual, if you keep looking for a good story telling you can try these RPGs as well:

• Risen
• Risen 2 (although I just started it, some people say it's better, some worst than the 1st one)
• Kotor
• Kotor 2
• Fallout series, specially Fallout 1, 2 and new vegas
• Dark souls Series

Plus:

• Batman Arkham series
• Shadowrun series, pretty much everything but boston
• Tomb Raider
• The darkness 2 (but it's very short)

You should check out the Humble Sekai Project Bundle that is available right now, it's not expensive and visual novels are as story based as it gets.

Over The Hills and Far Away. Not a game per se (as there aren't any choices to make), but the story is amazing! The characters are believable, and there is a lot of different emotions to be gained from experiencing this one. I highly recommend it!!!:)
