I am fairly new to SG but have given away some games and reached lvl 2. I read the rules and they sound reasonable and I like the point/achievement system! There was only one thing that confused me, but maybe I am just thinking over it too much. The giveaway you linked says mandatory... does that mean we have to join the giveaway to be considered for the group? In doing so it would violate one of your first rules about having earned 10 points in the group before entering any private giveaways. Although that rule is under the 'Members' section so I can deduce that it probably would not in fact break the rules since the applicants are not exactly members yet. So do I drink from the glass in front of me, or do I pick the glass in front of you?! Inconceivable!

The mandatory giveaway is some kind of unwritten rule of SG. Every time you open a thread, most people will click on it for a giveaway. That's why he said mandatory, but you don't have to join it. ^^
Edit: And the10 points before entering is only once you join the group.

Hi Archi... I would like to join the group, as long as you and the other members find me suitable for the task :)
You may or may not remember me... I was the guy that chose the box in your event because the youtube videos did not load instead getting some .swf files
Now... about reasons for joining... well, I guess I can't provide some elaborate comments as to why I'm the best candidate... I just like giving away games as you can see from my profile and enjoying some time with the community. I personally don't like being a leecher and enjoy being in smaller groups where no one is forced to give anything away but we all feel like doing it because we find joy in sharing with others.
I am already a member of some other groups Losers, MMOC, Ni Dieu which, if not mistaken, has some shared users with your group.
Plz let me know if you think I may be worthy of your group either now or in a future ... btw, great job with the bot... it looks friendly enough :)

Hey there, I think I'd make a fairly good candidate for your giveaway group. My profile speaks for itself, as of writing this application, I have a +24/-0 trade feedback, 51 sent gifts ($382.49), 0 gifts received, and 100+ comments. I think these numbers accurately reflect my generosity and participation.
So, why would I want to join? Well, for one, I think I share many commonalities with members of this group: I absolutely love anime (Cowboy Bebop) and enjoy anime and "Japan-centric" games such as One Way Heroics. The second reason is that the type of games that are given away among the group are games that I would enjoy giving away as well as receiving. For example, a great giveaway I'd like to do if I had the opportunity to join your group would be a giveaway for Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae.

The Touhou Giveaways group was founded by Archi on February 18th 2015. We're a small, ratio-based group, sharing the spirit of giving away and winning games on SteamGifts. You might already recognize us from awesome events that we organize from time to time.
We have implemented many unique features into the simple concept of a private giveaway group, and today we are one of the most "technologically advanced" group that exists on SG. The objective is simple: the group should be a nice addition to the SteamGifts community and should require no extra effort from the member.
All group giveaways are tracked by our bot, which automatically adds new giveaways to the database, track winners, calculate points and ratio, detect current/finished giveaways, statistics, and even reward members with our very own touhou achievements! Yep! You read it right, our group is fully automated. And thanks to that, our members can focus on what is the most important - creating and winning giveaways, instead of being forced to manually add them through the website or post links in a group thread. Thanks to that, we achieved our main objective - our members are happy to make giveaways the same way they would do public or private giveaways, and ArchiBoT does everything else.
To make the precious data gathered by the bot available for the members, we also coded our very own Touhou Giveaways website, which acts as a "frontend" to the data gathered by the bot. Users can now check their stats, ongoing giveaways, giveaways won and many other useful information we have gathered in a nice, fancy and modern way.
