I don't like horror, point & clicks, casual, and generic cod games.

Well, if a game manages to be one that I personally enjoy then I'd argue that it certainly isn't a bad game, by virtue of that fact. And that would extend to other people too, of course, so for a game to be "bad" you'd need to seriously struggle to find anyone who enjoys it.

That depends. If they're just releasing inoffensive bad games, but are really trying to get better, then I see nothing wrong with supporting them (like say buying bundles with their games in and allocating some of the money to them).

And what's a bad game?

That's a very wide question, and I can't easily define what makes a game bad. Bad controls, poor level design, poor writing, poor story, buggy, poorly balanced elements, among other things, they all contribute to make a game bad, but a game can still be good even if it falls flat in one or two areas, as long as some other area makes up for it (see Alpha Protocol for a clear example of a game that has several bad elements, and several great elements).

Of course, just because I dislike a game does not mean its bad (I hate football games, yet I would not call the latest FIFA bad). But I can safely say that something like Desert Gunner is really bad (you might like it for its camp factor, but it's not a good game). A bad game can still be enjoyable, just not always for the intended reasons.
Though then there are bad games that are just bad because they are a pale imitation of something better, and that fail to do anything that could make it funny.

A 'bad game' is one that I don't want to play. A low quality game is one that wasn't tested enough, has glitches, low quality graphics and/or sound and boring game play/story. Low quality doesn't mean simple mind you. It just means that it's obvious that it wasn't put in there for a reason, but just because the developer was not able/didn't want to put better assets into their game.

That being said while I think there's really no objective 'badness' to a game, there is still a very noticable lack in quality. Proper game play and/or a really good story can make up for a lot of other problems. A good game is one that makes you play and even makes you come back for more.

I don't know, but you surely don't want to support Digital Homicide. Their name talks enough instead of them. Censoring critics, going on a rampage, and deleting the traces later is not cool IMO. Also they produce games, which doesn't even deserve 1% rating.

My definition of a 'bad game' is usually a game, that is bad.

A truely "bad" game, is one that runs horribly, even on the mightiest PCs.
You might love a certain game, while others might outright hate it, for we all have different tastes.
But if you can't even run it properly because it was poorly optimized (if at all), that's objectively bad.

Either games with awful (imo) art styles (i.e., Undertale or Firewatch) or one with cool ideas but controls so horrilbe it makes it not worth exploring them (i.e., Beat Hazard or Iron Sky Invasion)

A bad game is something that is pretty much... Unfinished, something that can't just be played.

With tons of glitches around, save-file corruptions every time you try to save, areas that are impossible to get due to a certain glitch, items that can't be gotten by the said glitch, making you be stuck in that level forever.

Or just something EXTREMELY boring, to the point it's unplayable.

A bad game in my definition is a buggy unplayable mess. I can forgive lame characters or a dumb story if the mechanics are good. But crashing, broken quests or missions and not triggering scripts... EWWWW!!! >_<

Lots of things come to mind but when a game has insanely spread out checkpoints forcing hours of replay if something goes wrong, that particularly aggravates me.

Also bad if it poops on the rug.
