Same here. I was hoping this game would be more of a Battletech MMO, but it's just a multiplayer free-for-all. I blame the success of Mech Assault, which turned the Mechwarrior series into a twitch shooter rather than the tactical shooter I always loved it for.

If I could do it justice and find a artist I would be willing to try and recreate the classic game. But, between no money to pay a artist and very little time.. I guess that dream died :(

Edit: it is sad.. Also, it seems EA is "trying" to give a sense of Mech Warrior with that new Titan game.. but it doesn't look, sound, or even act the same as the old games.

its a mechwarrior game of course its pretty much a twitch shooter, the earlier ones werent that much different to mech assault imo just uglier which is fine but your right that the world needs a battletech mmo that adapts the whole setting not just the mechs :)
