Is your factory growing?
I loved to play Factorio together with friends. But this only works with good communication. Also I played some time offline but not close to 100 hours. If you do not find enough people to join, I'd be interested. Space Age looks amazing and could bei a stand alone title with that content.

My reason for 100 hours is, that if you played (much) less, there is more content in the base game.

Do you still have that savegame file? Unless you were playing ribbon world, it would be very difficult to reach the edge of the map. But not impossible

I'm definitely sure I don't apply having only 15 hours under my belt but I will say that I've been itching to start playing it again in the past year and a half and looking for the right time, especially seeing as news of the DLC have been popping up nonstop on my "What's New" tab.
Would love to enter if you're willing to bend the rules ass backwards! XD if not thought I completely understand, there are those here way more deserving!

Oh, I'm sure I would enjoy factorio... That's why I stay away from it xD

I used to play when the game came out but it's been a while since I last played. I actually never played with monsters attacking first, I always selected the option for monsters to attack when I attack them to play a chill game and spend my time planning the factory and not stressing about monsters attacking my factory.

What if my playtime is not on steam? I bought the game way back when through their website but only recently found out that it also came with a steam key. I probably have 80+ hours but no way to show it because I was playing on an older PC and didn't transfer my saves.

Hey soadrage7654,
no playtime on Steam, no entry in the giveaway. My playtime is on their DRM free version too, so I would not fit my own criteria.

I've been distracted with Satisfactory for a bit, but I'd love to get back into the Factorio grind.

If you want in, you need to switch your playtime to visible.

I don't really take images of my factories, but here is one of my greatest defeats from a few years ago: https://i.imgur.com/b2kfz7r.jpeg

A friend recommended me Factorio way back, probably months after initial release. I bought it, tried it, and though what a crap.
Years later another friend recommended me the game, I tried it again and got hooked for a while.
If the general concept appeals to you, try it again.

just giving a bump since I know this game is great(but isn't my kind of game), I tend to invest way to many hours into ARPGs here(Path of Exiles true hours are 15k+ since most of my time is using the standalone client(mostly for faster patching in the past)

I bought the game in early access, way back in 2014 😯. I was still a student at that time, so that was definitely a dangerous time to have the game. 🤣
But when exams were coming up, I made a conscious decision not to touch the game anymore. Which paid off, because I did end up getting my diploma. 😋
Anyway, my playtime from back then isn't counted, but I still have 87 hours registered on Steam. So I imagine my total is at least twice that. :p
Here's a screenshot I found of an in progress base. Compared to the stuff you see on the forums and on Reddit, it's a baby base, but I still like it. :)

Hey, been thinking of trying factorio again with the new DLC my friends got it and I wanna join in with them to start some factories all over again. Do I qualify to join in the GA?

I have bought the game. And the DLC so I don’t need to enter to the GA here.
Even though I only played for around an hour or so, when I reach my limit to this Diablo 4 season I plan to dig on Factorio. My only fear is become addicted to it, and I don’t have a lot of time, but maybe I can play a bit here and there

400+ hours and I've only ever really "finished" 2 runs, one vanilla back in 0.15 or something prior to the full release, and a krastorio 2 run. The vanilla run was done prior to getting it properly on steam so my achievements solely come from the MMP speedruns I've been participating in on the occasion recently. My space exploration + krastorio 2 run ended up being sort of stuck since I never really figured out how to properly automate sending resources out into space with an on demand system based on circuits. What I've seen of the arcospheres in the endgame was also quite daunting.
Started a new run about two years ago with 248k + krastorio 2 + rampant, that's been on pause for a while and has been a bit stuck on the scaling out part. While k2 was easy enough to limp through to the ending with my poorly planned spaghetti I've been trying to scale out properly for this run. I do intend on going back to it before I get the new space age dlc myself, or it may end up being another run I abandon to start anew yet again.

Played only about 410 hours, though it felt like a lot more. Own it since Early Access and maybe not all game time from back then is counted? struggled hard until I read about the mainbus strategy.
I love the seablock mod setting having limited space and lots of new production lines producing "waste" products that can be used later with higher technologies.

Alright, my friend has some stuff going on, so I will post his Steamgifts link for consideration. He has 2400 hours in Factorio, because sometimes he would let the game sit in the background while factories factoried (something about a long distance to resources). He's the one who encouraged me to Steamgift, and he's been less active until recently when I started up again. I think he'd get a lot of play out of the DLC (and I'd probably hear about it at work :) ).

Ugh, yes. I even copied it but forgot to paste. I'm a space cadet as my kid has flu. Anyway, link!

I'd love to enter a giveaway for this. I have 216 hours in Factorio across two save files. I never managed to get to full megabase status, but I thoroughly enjoy the process of getting to the rocket launch. I suspect Space Age will finally make me move past that hurdle.
I might just buy the DLC on my own, but I really haven't decided yet. My delay is that I have only about 20 minutes of game time per day at the moment, which is a disgrace for any true Factorio player. Good for you to offer such a wonderful gift!
