Just wondering: How do the people on steam decide that they will remove a game? I'm not talking about the times that the developer asks for its game's removal, only about the times that steam decides that they don't want to sell this game anymore.

It's not just because they're bad games. It happens when the developer has done something unethical, messed with one or another of Steam's systems, like fake reviews, misuse of key generation, or false information on a product page. Sometimes Valve puts an announcement on the community hub, like this one http://steamcommunity.com/games/527570/announcements/detail/562229765423703937 from last April, but I couldn't find one for the developer mentioned above.

Thanks for the answer. I've seen people saying about games being removed because they were created merely for card profiting, but how can steam know about that and how can they take this decision if it's not even something illegal? xD

It's up to the retailer if they want to stop selling a bogus product, it doesn't have to be illegal. It's not like they are taking away copies of the game already sold.

The first one removed was Piccled Ricc due to a DMCA, likely from Turner Broadcasting

Then the others were removed and banned (still playable, but -1 to game count and not visible on profile), here's a full list:

  • Offroad: VR
  • Space Journey
  • Staircase of Darkness: VR
  • Escape the Island
  • Space Journey - Original Soundtrack DLC
  • Dead Inside
  • Adventures of Hooi
  • Flight Simulator: VR
  • Radioactive
  • Space Odyssey
  • Hotel 19-95
  • Official Soundtrack - by Vick Shwetz (DLC)
  • Fidget Spinner Simulator
  • Vaping Simulator: Pepe Edition
  • Fidget Spinner - Premium Member (DLC)
  • Fidget Spinner - Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation (DLC)
  • Fidget Spinner - Forest Soundtrack (DLC)
  • Fidget Spinner - SkyRaceTrack Soundtrack (DLC)
  • Vaping Simulator - Deluxe Edition (DLC)
  • Pill Cosbi

All of these show up as publisher/developer bcInteractive, Red Square Studios, or Dissident Interactive, if I remember correctly.

Honestly not surprised. Not just that the game is not a game, but Berdyev was getting really... ahem.

They are all asset flips connected with the wannabe "dev" Berdyev who also is under the names BCInteractive, RedSquare Studios, Elusive Team and Dissident Interactive . He buys things off the unity store and puts the same exact thing on the Steam store.

Revoking bundle keys (Space Journey) and taking weeks to replace them (ofc only after requests), weird customer communication and asset flipping DMCAs.. I don't shed a tear over it.

Nonetheless I expect Valve to deal better with this. Corrupting the API detection is annoying. And they still don't have any idea of good quality assurance before releasing games. Faster bucks, but problems like this afterwards.
