Just based off nothing but tech, price, and features: PS4. $100 cheaper, online is cheaper and comes with regular discounts and a free game every month, it's technically superior, and doesn't have any restrictive DRM.

I think I'd go with a PS4 over an Xbox One. I've just always liked the first & second party titles on the Sony consoles better than the Microsoft ones.
