Ah, hello there!

So, the other day I was surfing the internet as usual, and I found some guy on some forum saying that he does not own any of these newer cell phones like iOS or Android, and the he's probably the only one is this world we live in.

Well, is he?

He's not. I find myself using the same fucking phone for 5 years in a row now, it's slow as hell and it doesn't even make a sound when I get a text message. But is it any good? Well I can listen to music, text people and call them, that's pretty much what I need it to do! Btw my phone is the glorious Nokia 5800 Xpress Music, the red one.
It's not that I want one of these, even if I had the money right now (which I don't), I wouldn't buy one, I'd be better buying a new PC or something else, but that's my opinion.

What's your opinion?

Do you have any "old" phone(s) you still use?

My phone is so retro that it just does phone stuff like talking and text. No apps or music or stuff like that.

None that I know about, they are quite useless anyway. I mean really, whats the point of having an old phone that cant do anything else beside calling ppl?

I had red Nokia 5800 Express Music for a long time and recently got a new one with Android which is so much better than Symbian. I had to buy new phone because Nokia became really slow (it also didn't support many 3D games). Now, I did a factory reset on the Nokia and it runs faster, but I still don't regret getting a new phone.

I'm still not owning any mobile phone and I'm not one of the "too old" generation.

I'm 30 now and I've resisted more than 10 years now to get one. Why? Because I don't really need one and I don't like to become one of those zombies who walk headdown through the streets just because they want to be the first one to like some post on facebook or similiar stuff :D

I'm still freeeeeeeeee \o/

well, I only owned only 4 phones so far, I received the first one in 1998 :D

My first one was an Alcatel One Touch easy, it had a funny ringtone, loved it, but then it broke for no reason 1.5 year later, then my parents got me a nokia 3330 that I kept until 5 years ago but then I replaced it because it only kept just 10 sms and it was getting annoying :D Bought a nokia 1208 for 10€ in a store to replace my 3330 and I was still using it until september 2013 when I switched to a Nokia lumia 920, had to replace my 15 years old sim card, I keep it in a frame :D (it was a gift from my grampa).

I had for a brief period a Nec e616v in addition to my phone, due to the "videocalling thing", I bought it used, it was a shit phone not working properly, slow and massive, we replaced it with a nokia N70, so I guess I had 5 phones :D (I still have all of them in a box, working :D)

Yes, I'm still using Sony Ericsson C702 since 2008 ;]
Only feature what is missing for me is WiFi module.
It's very solid, it's been dropped countless time and it was even bitten by my dog when She was 9 weeks old.
It will be nice to have new phone with Android on which I can play GTA games, but.. it's just not right time for my budget ;)

btw sorry for my Eng

If I need to fix my smart phone, and while they're fixing it, sure I use my old phone Tmobile or something. Anyhow I would use an older phone if needed.

i have a nokia..er..i don't even know the model, it's an old xpress music. i don't even need it, i used it as a pocket watch/alarm clock mostly. i'd only use an Andoid/iOs phone for the game, probably, but i already have a PSP and Vita for that. i won't get a new phone until this one breaks beyond repair.

Samsung Galaxy S4 masterrace .. I dunno how you guys live without a smartphone. I am in serious need of my phone. Not just to call and text people, it has a lot to do with my work, sometimes I need to react to mails immediately. My callendar is full of stuff I have to do or places and meetings I have to go to.
Besides how else could I play Flappy Bird on my way to work or while I'm sitting in Uni?
