I hope you're not trying to be sarcastic. Fortix 2 is for real one of the best indie games I've played. Secret of the Magic Crystals was absolutely horrible. I haven't played Bad Rats yet but I suppose it's something everyone has to do at some point in their lives.

I have sent all three development studios an email urging them to add trading cards. I suggest that the community do the same. Together we can make this happen!
Here is a copy of the message I sent them all (I do not encourage you to spam them with this text, if you wish to contact them, make sure you send them a personalized message):
Dear X,
As you may know, Steam's latest feature is trading cards for new and popular games on the service. It started as a beta program back in mid-May with a small selection of games included. Now, nearly two months later, the number of games has grown to 70 and is probably going to keep expanding during Steam's summer sale event and beyond.
Players can get a set amount of these cards if they own one of the participating games. Once they earn them, they can either craft them into badges (of which there are multiple levels to encourage collecting) or sell them on the marketplace. While the prices vary a lot for cards (of which there are both standard and special rare foil ones), in the end what is so special about this is that developers get a 10% cut off all transactions that take place.
This should be considered an additional source of revenue. It is a very simple way to both monetize games and give them a lot of additional (and in the case of older titles, renewed) exposure.
Your game, X, is perfect for this new system and would undoubtedly be embraced by the Steam community. I encourage you to look into adding trading cards to the game, which I believe has been made incredibly simple for all developers through the Steamworks API.
Kind regards,
A fan

Fortix 2 will get cards, I've added the announcement today to the trading cards thread
And if you're planing to buy Fortix 2, it may be cheaper for you to buy it from the Indie Gala Store, unless of course you're waiting for it to go on a 66% or 75% off sale on Steam.

I think we can all agree that this is the most important question right now. I am quite disheartened that these games were not featured on the cards for the summer sale.
We need to contact the developers and ask them if they've patched trading cards in.
