Alcohol or Weed?

neither, if not very small quantity of low grade alcool once in a while in some social contexts (im actually quite intolerant to it and need to be very careful). never felt attracted to smoke even during adolescence. dont really tolerate weed smoker degenerates much.

Tried weed when I was younger. Mostly it was bad stuff and therefore it hadn't any effect. Only once I was laughing my ass off and became dizzy, even more since we were in my first flat which was located in a half-timber house (lumpy ground, sloping walls).
Though that's okay, I don't feel the desire to repeat it.

Alcohol on the other side is way easier to get, is combined with many different tastes and helps me also a little bit in getting less introverted. Regarding the downsides: avoid sweet drinks, don't mix up too many beverages and try to find your point of no return.

I don't do illicit drugs, the day that I do use them they can put me in an insane asylum and throw away the key.

But I do like a glass of good claret now and then. ;-)

Long term weed use I think is still reletivly unknown but from what I've seen the old dudes who smoked since the 70's are BAKED literally.

Never have, never will. I have no interest, and in the case of alcohol it would interact with one of my prescriptions for the worse.

Let me clarify that even though I am Catholic Christian, I have a more liberal view regarding alcohol on drugs. Well, technically in the Catholic faith you can drink, I.e. Communion, parties, weddings, etc. Heck, the Jews drank and Jesus (according to the Bible) produced wine for people already drunk as f***.

Regarding drugs, as long as you are not impeding on yours or anyone else's ability to function in society, I see no issue. Don't let it consume you to the point you lose the important things, I.e. Stable financial status, faith (if applicable), hobbies, loved ones. As some have mentioned, use them all you want if you can keep other factors of life in control, but just like any other decision you make in life, make it when you are in your right mind to do so, and understand all the benefits, side effects, and consequences.

And please, stay within the legal bounds of your jurisdiction ;)
