Awh, can you tell me where, so I can fix them? I'm still glad you like it :)

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I cannot really leave the F6 room. Sure, I can get to the edgeless safety cube ad drop it down on the inactive tractor beam, but I can't find a way to cross that wide pit to reach the giant drop to the left of the preview picture. I also know of a way into the area with the inactive tractor beam and the edgeless cube receiver that enables it, but of course I cannot get there after dropping the ball down there.
So I am stuck early on.

You have to fling yourself! :D put a portal where you are below you in the wall, jump down in a portal, you will fly and land on a 45 degree panel and get a portal on that before you lose your speed. That will do the trick ;)

OK, took me about 20 tries today, but I made it past that flinging part and finished the level without problems afterwards.
I just wonder if I did it the intended way, because I skipped parts of the level that can be seen in the preview shot. That is, the cube dropper and receiver after the tractor beam ride, where you could get back into the tractor beam facing upwards. Plus, I didn't need the propulsion gel, just one spot of repulsion.
Back to work on my second map, the FranCompanion Cube Adventures ;)

Hm, help me decide on this: I do have another map ready, it's just not publicly available yet. I'd like to bind it to another giveaway for a different game than the first. Would that be a good thing, having two puzzles open using the same technique, competing for attention by the users? Or is it better to wait for the first puzzle to finish and then start another one?

Il try the next of your puzzle (aka when I download Portal 2)

Had the same problem. Here is the walkthrough to that wide pit:
If any of these fail, reload.

Thanks for the tips =) I was flinging before, but couldn't fling across) The thing is, I had to duck to fly over the smaller ledge =)
After that, things were pretty straightforward )) And good thing I dropped the edgeless cube beforehand, I don't know how would I get it otherwise))
Anyhow, bump for solved) And was there a giveaway? If so, I missed it completely)) Thank you for a great level ;)

Yeah, it's mandatory to pick up the edgeless cube and drop it into the pit sealed off by laser beams. I completely missed the ball on my firstentry to that chamber. On later restarts of the level I discovered you can take a peek into the small room with the receiver by landing on the entry door frame by using the faith plate below the F6 sign and hop onto the ledge to the left of your entry to the level. But don't fall in or you will be trapped!
Those are my biggest gripes with this map, two places right at the start where you can trap yourself without means of exit other than reset or reload.
And no, you didn't miss a giveaway on this one.

Oh, by the way: if you hit the entity limitation, just delete the the fizzler above the entrance, it is not really needed and removing it gives a chance to escape the edgeless safety cube receiver chamber should you enter it early. And the vertical fizzler in the same room can shrink to just one tile wide by covering only the hole to the F6 room. The propulsion gel is not needed either and could be dropped.
You could even consider taking out the faith plate, cube receiver, cube dropper, pedestal button, angled glass wall and moving platform and let the player jump the water barrier after the tractor beam challenge.
The fizzlers in the giant pit room could be shrunk as well.
That should buy some light strips or even better observation rooms to light up some dark corners. But then again, you'd have to come up with another name for the map ;)

Would be funny if the giveaway was for Portal 2. XDDD
