I find this video helps relieve any music-related depression.

Madonna is considered "nowadays"?!? o_O
She hasn't had a decent song since the 80's. -_-

Notice I said "decent song". ;)
The last song that she released that I actually enjoyed was "Like a Prayer" which was released before most of the users of this forum were even born. o_O (That song had a great video too)

Now that I think about it, that's pretty damn weird. Michael Jackson was active during the same time period, in the same genre, and far outstripped her by virtually any metric you choose. Even if their short memories disallow them from including all the more appropriate people that could be named, such as some of the ones you listed, I can scarcely imagine how they could possibly choose her while overlooking him. Obviously, whatever rinky-dink operation was behind this is so profoundly ignorant in the music department that their opinion on anything of that nature can be safely disregarded.

I just wasted 2 hours of my life on a dumbass music show that claims Madonna is 'the greatest who ever lived' and did not even include Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Beatles in the top twenty...
