OMG I just came in my pants.

They've got quite a few other games on sale too, but none quite as awesome as this one.

Good deal, it's too bad I'd bought each at $5 during the last GOG sale.

I went ahead and bought.
This is almost cheaper than trying to track down the Baldur's Gate II expansion I'm missing.

Just wanted to post this.

Good thing I didn't get the GoG one.

Thanks for posting. I've been meaning to, but forgot. I managed to resist the temptation to buy at the last GOG sale, but I'm tempted by this, just to have digital copies of BG, Planescape and Temple.

By the way, note that there has been discussion (on Amazon) about this version of the games having problem supporting some mods. See here for further discussion and potential solution

Are they only in English, or multi language? Can't find this on the web.

Here's a guide that will give you a better experience in BG by combining the games into one using the much improved BG2 engine.

does it also add dual-wielding and new classes from bg2?

because i remember starting bg1-tutu with a beastmaster and regretting it immediately. not very balanced at all

Thanks for the link. Never played either BG, so one long playthrough of both will be sweet. =)

That's a way to backup the game. GamersGate has their own downloader which deletes the installer once it does its thing. This is a method you can use to backup those installer files. Works for other GG games too.

Some mods won't work though if you install to Program Files\, so do Games\ or something instead.

I'm actually getting commercials for a 66% discount on Crysis Maximum Edition from GamersGate, but when I go to their site, they won't let me purchase it. Anyone knows if it's regionlocked?

I just wanted to know I got this offer, and I'm loving it. For whatever reason, I never purchased these games when they were released. I feel bad for that, but experiencing them for the first time now is awesome. I do want to let you all know that you CAN get BGT and many other mods to work with this pack. I loaded every mod on this page with the exception of the Optional Tweaks pack and the "English Game Text Update" for BGII. For whatever reason, it kept wiping out all of my dialog. I'm guessing that is one I can live without, I highly recommend you just skip that update unless you know how to fix it.

This is how I did it. I installed the games to somewhere other than Program Files(x86), I choose C:\DnDMA. That is the only choice you get in the installer, it chooses the path to each of the games. The problem with the installers game paths is the apostrophe (aka single quote) in the Balder's Gate titles. After they finished installing, I renamed the two Balder's Gate titles to not include the apostrophe. (Balder's to Balders). With that, I was able to run and install all of the mods, then I changed the folder names back to include the apostrophe again (Balders back to Balder's) for both titles. I searched the registry to see how difficult it would be to keep the folder names without the apostrophe, and it will be a pain in the butt. WAY too many instances to change without a script. Hope this helps!
