Is there a difference between titan quest and titan quest anniversary edition?

I have both versions and was wondering if I should play the standard titan quest first? Or would I be wasting my time?

so anniversary edition is simply a better version of titan quest, in which case I shouldn't bother with the standard version? Thanks a lot for checking for me!

Well one thing that might make a difference is whether or not you want to play with Immortal Throne installed (not sure on computer space required) because I don't think you could uncheck to install Immortal Throne from the AE version. Although, since it's been given a massive overhaul, it just may be better overall to play AE instead. However, don't ignore the original completely, if needed it seems to have a player manual that you can access from right-clicking the game icon that didn't seem to carry over to the AE version.

In an interesting note, I only had Titan Quest and not Immortal Throne, but still got the Anniversary Edition anyway.

So the only thing that didn't carry over is the manual? If thats the case, then I'll probably play the anniversary edition and use google for the manual. Thanks!

It's even smaller size than TQ+TQIT combined, why would you even play the old edition over than the new one?
Oh, the expansion pack Immortal throne is there too.. new Hades "region", new Dream "job"
